This can be moved to the appropriate thread. But a big heads up. CBS has tweaked their primetime line-up (as have other networks) to accommodate special election coverage at 10pm ET.

Deadline is reporting TAR will only air ONE episode tonight at 8pm with a SWAT repeat airing at 9pm. But the CBS website and press website still shows both TAR episodes will air. Deadline might be incorrect.

From Deadline:

CBS will air its regularly scheduled episode of The Amazing Race from 8-9 PM, followed by a S.W.A.T. repeat from 9-10 PM and then a live special, CBS News 2020: America Decides – Still Counting, at 10-11 PM ET. The special will air from 7-8 PM on the West Coast. Another S.W.A.T. repeat will air from 10-11 PM in the West.

Also, breaking news could affect the schedule further. So be on the lookout and stay tuned!

I guess episode 5 will be possibly moved to Friday, November 6 on a special time at 8 pm. Move Greatest At Home Videos at 9 pm for a one-time schedule.

AXN Asia too of course has both episodes airing "tonight" (Thursday night in Asia). So they and CTV would just have to repeat Ep 5 next week?

The huge problem is all scripted comedies including BBT spin-off Young Sheldon will premiere tomorrow. I do a possibly for a special Friday episode and then episode 6 next Wednesday.

Not as possible. SEAL TEAM will have its December 16 episode on a normal time period at 9 pm. SWAT will still have its December 16 episode as well.

The two-hour finale episodes in the Philippines and New Orleans will be scheduled for December 16 to avoid Christmas specials on the week of December 21. Just like the 2-hour finale of Survivor and a reunion special. The December 16 episode of SEAL Team will be bumped to January 6, 2021 after the holiday season.

Couldn't they just extend the season out an extra week and end it on December 23rd instead? I doubt many people are traveling this year and it's not like there's a holiday or anything special going on that day that would distract from the finale...

So I am definitely glad they didn't risk tonight's 2nd episode getting cut into.

However, I am definitely worried for the future ratings the show might get. So many people are not aware this is airing!! Just hoping we get another season once COVID ends, and have it air at the start of the TV season, not plopped somewhere as a filler again. Then we'll judge how good or bad the show is doing.

Most likely, CBS will need one hour of prime time Thursday and Friday nights for election coverage. It likely won’t be until Friday before presidential election can be called. But then no one knew Georgia would become Trump’s worst nightmare.
