Anyone else expect the Yield to be available on every/most Legs? Like, they give them the Yield Hourglasses, but will only get a few opportunities to use it? What's the point of the Hourglass then? I don't think the ten minute difference will matter all that much. Only in the most perfect of circumstances would it lead to something actually interesting or exciting.

Just bringing the Yield back on every Leg or even every other Leg with the U-Turn would be twisty enough.

I do think they are going to place yields on every leg until Leg 11, except legs with u-turn

Would be interesting to know why Peach came up with this piece of news..

When a similar situation happened in TAR 17 Russia, the production team still emphasized that it was a pre-planned NEL, and all they did was to nullify the Speed Bump.

This is seriously one of my favorite casts ever. I don't love every team but I will admit there are so many strong characters.

Same here. We could have had up to 34 filmed and 35 be the halted season but nooooo. God forbid they give TAR the time of day. Even if they had filmed TAR33 first and Tough as Nails second, TAR could’ve finished and Tough as Nails would’ve been able to finish filming by now because it’s low-risk filming

This is so true. Everything that could have gone wrong for us, did. If they even would have just swapped the filming dates of Tough as Nails and TAR33 around, we could have gotten BOTH. But instead their lack of planning and waiting well over a year in between filming TAR32 and TAR33 lead to us this... meanwhile, Tough as Nails S2 is even filming right now.

I watched the 2nd preview for the Paris leg next week on the CBS website and I'm already in love with everything, from the energy to the chaos, in the second preview. This is the TAR editing I've been waiting for since TAR21. I haven't seen an adrenaline-pumping self-driving fail at this level for so long.

Probably TAR 33 and Tough as Nails could have swapped production to film earlier even with the virus should have not contained at all. Should TAR 33 have to run production and would complete filming before introducing COVID-19 restrictions.

Never would have thought they would be the last non-allied team left

It is just bad we aren't getting a 3rd NEL this season so we cannot see them break a record and be the team coming last on all NELs of a season

I’ve been trying to visualize what a “mega leg” actually is, and the closest I am coming up with is a leg similar to the final leg of the earliest seasons (1 to 5) which also featured two roadblocks, two detours, and double the distance with no pit stop mid leg.

Indeed, it's probably the accurate representation of what would the mega leg be, except it is in the same country

Like in TAR 6, in Budapest

Leg 6 was a combined double-length leg, with two Detours and two Roadblocks, shown over two episodes. The placements listed in the first column reflect the order teams arrived at the Net Klub Internet Kafé, the leg's halfway point. The leg's Fast Forward was offered after the halfway mark, and thus permitted Lori & Bolo to skip only the second set of challenges.

(It's the only one I can think of, but I'm sure there was more of that)

Phil said the first time ever of Mega leg, so my assumption is that this mega leg would be very different from other type of the leg, especially with Budapest case, which is no midpoint check in/virtual pitstop in between
