They took hashtags away. That is more than welcome change as far as the chyrons go.

Don't see what the fuss is with new graphics, not everything has to change all the time, and TAR doesn't usually shake things up in presentation until after around 6-8 seasons, if not more. The last (and current uniform) to have a shakeup of sorts was 27's chyrons with the yellow font and plane.

Now knowing that the Yield can either be ten or twenty minutes is a little disappointing. It should’ve been twenty or thirty minutes because I honestly feel like ten minutes will be super insignificant

Knowing that Michelle & Vic don't last too long makes me </3 they should've gotten a better edit in Leg 2

Michelle & Victoria being eliminated in 8th and so early in the Race </////3

I wish they lasted longer!!!

Also, social media is not going to be happy when the blondes get NEL'd after having a bad taxi while Kellie & Lavonne got eliminated  :groan:

Honestly I'm surprised at people acting like Kellie and LaVonne were a strong team that was screwed over. They never seemed to do that well at any task (except for the circus roadblock that 9/10 teams did well at)

They had a lot of potential. The tasks in Colombia were so linear so nobody really performed good or bad that leg and they were screwed up by their dyslexia in Tobago. It wasn't really their fault they did bad and I think they could've done a lot better on a different season

Why couldn't we have had the NEL at Leg 5 instead :(

Yeah, I think they are a more better team if they were in S.30, given the theme of that season.
I’m surprised because I expected more from them, at the time of filming, a friend of mine were analyzing the spoilers and my friend was sort of shocked that the hurdlers placed somewhere in 9th-11th. We predicted them Top 5 at most.

Why can't the actual show look this good, visually? Like, I don't know what they do to it. I'm no expert at video editing. But color grading, frame rates, whatever it is, I wish TARUS looked more like this (TARAu does). It just looks more cinematic.

The news that a F/F could make it as far as Leg 9, only to find out it can't be Mich/Vic is upsetting... cue "Curb Your Enthusiasm" music for the prospective robbed goddesses

Ugh at the promos. Michelle & Victoria possibly gone in 8th due to self-driving/direction-related issues
I am appalled. Such a bummer. I wouldn’t mind the Blondes leaving, they’re okay but I find Michelle & Victoria more interesting. They have so much more to offer. Just no! I’m hoping for a back to back NEL.
I predicted them Top 3. Not seen in Berlin, does not mean eliminated. I’m banking on this. F/F Teams like them are quite rare on TAR, I find them similar to Kym & Alli / Brooke & Claire.

Yeah, same sentiment here, the promos look clear & crisp as compared to the episodes. Also the way it was edited.

While, yes, there is no proof that Michelle and Victoria even make it to Germany... there is also no proof that they didn't not make it to Germany either? They could have easily maybe just been hidden and not included in the promos.

So I'm just going to continue to believe that we get:

~Leg 3: Brazil → Colombia, Frank and Jerry out, 9 → 8
~Leg 4: Colombia → Paraguay, non-elimination, 8 → 8 [DOUBLE EPISODE]
~Leg 5: Paraguay → France, keep-on-racing, 8 → 8 [DOUBLE EPISODE]
~Leg 6: France → Germany, Kaylynn and Haley out, 8 → 7
~Leg 7: Germany → Kazakhstan, non-elimination, 7 → 7 [DOUBLE EPISODE]
~Leg 8: Kazakhstan → India, Leo and Alana out, 7 → 6 [DOUBLE EPISODE]
~Leg 9: India (2), Michelle and Victoria out, 6 → 5

Is this purely delusional? Probably. BUT... it might just happen. CBS scheduled legs 4/5 to air together, which might make sense if they wanted to get both of the back-to-back non-elimination/keep-on-racing's out of the way. Then they also scheduled legs 7/8 to air together, which might make sense if one of those is also the final non-elimination leg. Kazakhstan being the non-elimination also makes sense from the Speed Bump sighting there IF they actually did the Speed Bump in leg 8 but BEFORE they left for India. It's extremely unlikely... but not impossible.

Realistically, we're gonna get Michelle/Victoria out in leg 5 in 8th place. Then Kaylynn/Haley out in leg 7 in 7th place. BUT... what doesn't make sense is, if leg 6 is a non-elimination like what is being speculated (the Speed Bump in leg 7 is thought to be from a leg 6 non-elimination) then why is CBS airing leg 6 as a standalone episode, yet airing legs 7/8 together? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever... they usually only double up on non-eliminations. So maybe my theory that leg 7 in Kazakhstan was actually the non-elimination and the sighted Speed Bump found there WAS for leg 8, but simply just for before they left to India, might actually be correct?

This is a mess of speculation but basically... I'm preparing for the worst but delusionally hoping for the best! #MichelleAndVictoriaToMakeLeg9 #AtLeastKaylynnAndHaleyToMakeLeg9

TAR 30 leg 4 / leg 5 were also broadcasted in double episodes, and both were elimination legs. Also, we have had double episodes in the past which the 2nd hour is a NEL / KOR before (TAR 29 Leg 4 / leg 5).

Therefore, broadcasting schedule doesn't really hint the spread of NEL..  :duno:

No but for real; I don't know if we can look back and use TAR30 as much precedent. They just wanted to burn that season off and had four double episodes. From what I remember, every other season other than S30, whenever they did a double episode, one of them always had a non-elimination in it (not counting finale double episodes). Even the TAR29 example, even though it was in the second half, it still had a non-elimination.

I don't think CBS is trying to burn this season off. So I really don't understand why they would air a standalone non-elimination, and then double up two eliminations. Yes, it happened in TAR30, but that was a different circumstance. I don't see them doing that here. This might be delusional, like I said, but I'm standing by it! lol

Does the Paraguay leg seem a little lazy in the leg design department? They've only been to this country and city once before, and the Detour is a switchback of two tasks from the first visit.

Kinda like Czech Republic re-using the Kafka phones the second time.

See it more as a throwback or callback to TAR history rather than laziness. Honestly don't mind it because TAR20 Paraguay is easily one of the best legs of modern TAR.

It's one of the instances where uninspiring Leg design (at least the Detour, the bottle dance was always fantastic) was exponentially better when filming/on TV.

I don't think there was anything THAT significant within TAR20's visit to Paraguay that is worthy of being done again besides the Brenchel or Vanessa & Ralph and Elliott & Andrew's late-night foot race to the Pit Stop. And if they use Rachel & Dave having an "incomplete" for this leg as a reason,  :groan:...

Really??? I think Paraguay's leg is honestly the most iconic across all the 20's seasons. Definitely worth repeating, even if a little lazy.

As if that's a challenge. They used the Express Pass to their liking. Vanessa & Ralph's time in Paraguay is more along the lines of what I expect though.
