Exodus Panyard. A small task there? A disjointed start (like Mexico City)? Seems like a lot of money to spend on a greeting party, even if it is a yearly event.

Seems they have a task as well:

The task at the Carnival was to play the Banana Song on the steelpan.

Was this the ACTUAL annual event...or solely for us?? ???

Did Leg 2 already happened and we missed it? It would be sign of no Europe in 2nd leg, I think.

Not sure. My Facebook is broken and nothing is popping on Instagram.

If they went to Argentina or S. America, we need to be really lucky to get sightings or have someone there to catch them!

I have been looking into the hashtags #AmazingRace in Instagram
There are no sightings so far

I suspect the teams may go to the country or region which has low social media users in there

All we know is that a team was eliminated,A team won a leg and we don't know them and we don't know the count and the country state of affairs :groan:

Apparently, there are no sightings at least since last Sunday, as they could be likely in Europe for Leg 2.

I think if teams are going to Argentina, then maybe a city or region with low social media users would be the option. perhaps near Gran Chaco plain or near Andes?

I haven't any proof about that yet. It's just a guess.

Extended Pit Stop?

That's very possible. A late Friday evening start is nearly unprecedented. I suspect it's possible they meant to start Saturday or even Sunday but decided to start early due to the wildfires and heavy smoke in the LA area. The evening start would hide the smoke from the cameras and they can probably edit out comments about smoke or coughing. Presumably they could arrange to run the first leg in Trinidad & Tobago early too and are now taking an extended pit stop to get back to their intended schedule.

Interesting they start this season with drums when they ended last season with drums!

Also the flights to T&T are not daily, so that could have factored in as well.

Well I mean if there was an earthquake that could have effected flights. I think they are either still in T&T or a country with low social media activity.

3 Days of no sightings and no trace whatsover, really intriguing. Hopefully they turn out today.

Africa might be a far away from T&T.

Perhaps they’re in Guyana or Suriname? That might explain a lack of sightings. Plus, both Georgetown and Paramaribo have direct flights to Port-of-Spain

Where were there crews spotted in Säo Paulo? I'm not seeing anything on social media about it besides that one tweet. Also, are we sure it's even TAR crew?

Right, Varsha ShenShen333 has outright lied before ("spoiling" that the Skiers won, Jody got 2nd, and Yale 3rd).

I tried looking around as well (to no avail), but the tweeter has been a reliable source with regards to locations before, so I believe they simply found  something we misses.

All I'm saying is that during S30 and S31 filming, Shen's twitter was a pretty reliable with locations, and there were times I saw something new there first.
This is just a lead that we could choose to follow and look around for anything we might have missed.

It's feasible- especially if it was an extended pit stop for leg 1.

Remember that we had thought we lost teams for like a day and half last season, only for them to pop up on what turned out to be leg 2- much later than we initially expected it to be running.

I would keep an eye out on Uruguay/Argentina for the next few hours, just in case it's an accurate lead.
