It's worth pointing out that we should be on the lookout for any info regarding the Extreme Roadblock twist introduced in TAR31, I don't think we heard much about it beyond the start. May or may not return for 32, but might be worth to keep an eye out for  :spy:

The flight arrived in Port of Spain about 90 minutes ago. It's almost midnight there. I expect there's an Hours of Operation and there won't be much happening for the next 7-8 hours.

The latest sighting shows teams at the airport in Trinidad, but also shows Phil with the message that Phil is going to Tobago. I'm confused. Could this leg be starting in Trinidad and ending in Tobago? How will Phil do his stand ups in Trinidad if he's already in Tobago? Maybe Phil arrived in Trinidad early enough today to do them before sundown. It shouldn't be a problem for the teams to go to Tobago as there appear to be flights every hour or two.

Update: Upthread I see that Peach posted some flights to Port of Spain, one of which arrived at around 3:15 PM - 3:30 PM. If Phil was on that, it would have allowed enough time for Phil to get his filming done in Trinidad and fly on to Tobago tonight if the leg actually does go there. The reference of Phil going to Tobago could be an error too, but it doesn't seem like one a local would make.

Trinidad is the bigger island out of Trinidad and Tobago!

I would imagine teams would spend over half of the leg on Trinidad and then the rest on Tobago? ???

So I saw this video on Snapchat posted about 3 hours ago. Looks to be the same celebration in the same place (maybe?) I also attached the area on Snapmaps where the screenshot was taken from.

Look for bandanas or a tag, teams MAY very well have a color coded one. I see blue on the MM Africa American team.

TAR production will be there with their packs as well. I THINK that new this season they may be having an extra "runner" with each team to handle fans/NDA's etc. That may vary from leg to leg.  (go back and look at the 29 Venice leg where they were running in the Plaza for example) So  a cute blonde with a small pack for example  could also be a "runner" not a racer until we have the teams confirmed.

But y'all are AMAZING!! Will open the contestant thread in a bit and move some of this over there.

But why did they start in LA instead of Houston? They had to go there anyway to connect right? And we would have had another starting city instead of overused LA.

I hope this is a 12 team season, but not with an elimination like TAR10, it was so damn sad...

And I love that we maybe have a lot of FF teams, specially an asian and an African-american FF, because it was a long time ago since we had one of them.

No, it's not Carnival in Trinidad & Tobago. Carnival is always the Monday and Tuesday before Ash Wednesday of every year there. They seem to have organized a special event with the panyard/ carnival costume models.

Does anyone know where they went after the panyard event?
