Survivor - Friends Going to War (Sneak Peek)

Idol fever strikes the NuiNui beach and launches a massive hunt for the last hidden immunity idol of the season. With the end of the game in sight, castaways begin to question whether their resumes are enough to win the title of Sole Survivor. Then, in a test of precision, castaways compete for immunity and a spot in the final six, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, May 8 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're still in Africa-- we'd probably see a lack of sightings if they went to the more sparsely-populated countries.  It'd be neat to see them head into Botswana, Namibia, or (even better) Madagascar.

If it's any consolation, we didn't get much for last season either. They just fell off the radar from Cambodia on.

Which was kinda nice, since it turned out to be such a great cast, I didn't mind being surprised at the second half of the boot order.

No new updates on what's going on in TAR Australia S8? :duno:

A network VP said in a podcast that the season is traveling counter clockwise. Guessing they went north.

I like it, although I doubt we’ll see Ethiopia anytime soon due to the ongoing war in Tigray
Maybe it should be replaced by another SA leg (perhaps in Pretoria or in a rural area)

Never been on this forum but I had to come somewhere and just say that was the most boring season of TAR.  The entire season felt like they were just in the same place.  They need to hit a few different continents every season to mix it up and make it interesting.  Spending the entire season in most Spanish-speaking countries was clearly an advantage to 3-4 teams that spoke fluent Spanish.  I don't think Ricky and Cesar win if there were more variety of locations.  The language was a clear advantage for them.

Hope they find their mojo in the season and get back to some real travel.

What a pleasure to have you taxman! Welcome welcome!

You may not know, but the season was mired in production difficulties that prevented them from traveling to other continents - we strongly believe that production intended to visit Oceania and Africa as well. This season was definitely not intended to play out as it did.

Let’s hope season 37 gets off to a better start! We’d love to have you around to watch the live sightings, they’re so exciting!

Potential route for TAR37 (without any NELs and with a 13 team cast)
Start: Somewhere in LA
Leg 1: Jakarta, Indonesia
Leg 2: Banten, Indonesia
Leg 3: Malacca, Malaysia
Leg 4: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Leg 5: Kathmandu, Nepal
Leg 6: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Leg 7: Johannesburg, South Africa
Leg 8: Utrecht, Netherlands (via Amsterdam)
Leg 9: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Leg 10: Rural Catalonia leg in Spain
Leg 11: Barcelona, Spain
Leg 12: Boston, Massachusetts (I want them to go there)

This route might not be realistic but it has two new countries, underused countries, overused countries, and new cities in old countries
