No direct mention of the Speed Bump! I wonder if or what will be the replacement. Other than that, pretty cut & dry leg this time. It showed a more definitive Romanian experience and the lack of taxi usage brought out some needed drama from the likes of Jas & Jag vs. Tucker & Eric en route to the subway and Jack & Chelsie cracking under the pressure of finding the flute Detour location. The placement of the sausage rolling route info task was a surprise, but welcome in my books. I love unexpected tasks right before the Pit Stop and this was a solid addition. The "baked" chicken at the Easter egg Roadblock has got to be the worst costume I've ever seen on the race next to the condor in TAR16.

I really want to know what happened with that chicken. Much like Sofia last season, we have another instance of production taking away cabs in an Eastern European capital. That also allowed to see a lot more drama from Jack & Chelsie. Not sure how Adam lasted as long as he did with his hypoglycemia because he was starting to look dead-eyed. I actually did get emotional with their NEL, so I'm glad that they are still in it.

The brothers' reaction to the NEL was one of the best we've seen in a long time.

The editors slipped in a fair bit of foreshadowing this episode between Izzy's desire for a musical task and Jack's apprehension around navigation.

Is it time to rethink the Express Pass as a race advantage? It was a little anticlimactic this season with neither pass being used until the last eligible leg. (If the tasks were harder then there would be a better chance of a team needing to burn it earlier...)
