Let me preface this by saying I am NOT trying to be a whiner and I am just happy to have the race back. Buuuuuut seeing the first three countries visited be Thailand, Vietnam, and India is just a little  to me! They seem like the basic countries (in addition to China and Japan) that TAR alwaaaays seem to hit when they go to Asia. I understand that there are still plenty of travel restrictions and such and that it’s still a miracle we can have the race going on but I’d love to see something a little fresher

I'm actually very happy for India to be on this season especially with a Jaipur visit, a city that hasn't been visited by the US since season 14.

I'm guessing we have something around:
Leg 1 - Bangkok, Thailand (June 15th)
Leg 2 - Thailand (June 17th)
Leg 3 - Cần Thơ, Vietnam (June 19th)
Leg 4 - Vietnam (June 19th/20th)
Leg 5 - Jaipur, India (June 22nd)

I wonder if India will be only for one leg or two. I'm leaning toward two, but that would be six legs in Asia. I will say I am a little annoyed by that, but I guess that makes up for 33 - 35.

Agreed. Very glad that TAR is back to pre-Covid standards but it’s disappointing when we know that such cool and interesting countries were lined up for 33 and 35 that got canceled last minute.

You know, I do wanna bitch a little. I think my standards are too high for this route. If that 2nd Thailand leg is not rural and just another leg in Bangkok, I will be disappointed. I'm also very annoyed at two legs in Vietnam especially if leg 4 is in Ho Chi Minh City due to having two legs in 31 that were kinda whatever imo. I really don't want to have half the race be in Asia especially South and Southeast Asia. 32's India legs were fine, so I have faith that India will be okay.

I just hope we get something very good like Mauritius, Kenya, or South Africa next. I hope this season doesn't get more than three legs in Europe, two would be best. I hope that they visit the Balkans, Nordic, and/or Ireland.

5 legs in Asia coming off of 2 Eurocentric and 1 LATAM centric route is not the most appealing. Hopefully we get non-Eurasian locations.

So we're off to India! I'm not exactly sure how I should feel about this! India is a great country and provides with fantastic, high quality and entertaining legs (glad to see Jaipur again for the first time since 2011!), but India itself is an extremely overused country by TAR...

I guess middle east next. Probably Qatar coz its the only country not be visited in Arabic middle east. They will need the new country narrative and it's in the way.. Or maybe there will b on new country this s.36/35

With all this discussion & speculation of the Middle East possibly being the next destination - you do release that the TAR Detectives have repeatedly stated Qatar is a "no-go zone" right?

Qatar was tried in Season 25, but there was huge problems with Elise or something (the Detectives can probably explain this better then me!) As a result, if the Middle East is visited, it'll probably be a UAE/Oman/Kuwait/Bahrain re-visit, because of course, Saudi Arabia is also a no-go zone with their historical & current treatment of women...
