I am missing good old TAR with airport and navigation drama.

I agree. The last memorable airport drama was Season 23 Leg 3. Nothing like the old days. On the other hand, I can completely understand why production doesn't want a repeat of Season 11 with Joe & Bill and Eric & Danielle.

Could be for security reason. We have had provided transportation leg before already, mostly in chaotic destinations (recent example is 30's Chiang Mai)

I remember when TAR visited Bandung in TAR 23, RFF member who followed the teams said the taxi drivers already knew the next destinations

They just seem to want to simplify the Legs and the logistics for recent seasons which also means easier editing. Hence the provided flights and other transportation, which of course eliminates all the drama that comes with airports, maneuvering for seats, getting lost in taxis, etc.

It would be okay if they still were able to fill the rest of the episode with excitement and drama, but most of the time, they can't.

I miss the flights/airport and taxi drama. It was essential on the Race. Hopefully they can come up with something to excite or add suspense. At least self-driving legs still provide for it.

We had transportation provided on a few occasions in S30 (Morocco, Zimbabwe, Chiang Mai), but our drivers NEVER knew the routes we were going. I can guarantee it would have been an entirely different outcome in Chiang Mai had they known where we were supposed to go. Kristi and I were lost for 20 minutes and I was showing our driver on a map where we needed to go and he still couldn't figure it out. The navigation is the biggest unseen component of this game. If they remove that, it would be lame. The flights are one thing (and that was frustrating enough), but really hope this was a one-time ting for security reasons or something.

We have seen and heard directly about it several times Jen.  Usually in more remote areas so not sure what the issue was here... I am sure security of the racers is their major concern.

But telling taxi cab drivers where to go takes away the RACERS input on that and takes away navigation as a skill. It does not seem to happen  in every location. Which is good because we would NEVER want to see the outcomes questioned due to this.

2) If it confirmed: It can be a transfer point by train, bus or plane to another location
3) or there could be a Leg in Paris or surroundings

They could have visited some place else.....

I was already feeling good. Started with a bang. Trinidad & Tobago then went to Manaus, Brazil 2 Legs. Yes, finally visiting the city located in the Amazon rainforest. Then a revisit of Paraguay and now the combo breaker, France. Nothing against France, lovely country. But too many visits in the last 6 Seasons on the Amazing Race. Give other countries a chance. Ugh.

When was the last full leg in Paris? I remember 27 having some part of the leg there (but not the full leg)

On US TAR, Paris has never had a full leg. The closest was leg 3 of TAR 1, but that ended at Les Baux.

Well, every route needs that one overvisited blip in Europe in another otherwise terrific route, I guess for an easy connection later. France seems to have become the go-to country.
