That is quite a solid cast. The only people I don't know are the two non-Rupert Survivor teams.

It would be hilarious to see Rachel working with Art & JJ lol
But I would take Justin & Diana over Art & JJ, tbh.

Corrine and Eliza are Survivor bitches. They will be great tv. Eliza is a world traveler.

Brett and Chris are bffs. Brett is a gay cop from Boston. Chris played football for OU and is now a lawyer. Brett is amazing! Funny smart and sweet.

Chris and Corrine are very good friends.

Oh, just realized. I would definitely take Art & JJ over Jet & Cord though, that's for sure.

But being a TAR vs BB vs Survivor season, I'm surprised at no Natalie & Nadiya. They deserve a spot over Leo & Jamal and Art & JJ.

I really think Justin & Diana need redemption. Should they Race again, they may show a different side to their personality. Anyone can change. I liked his podcast. The other Racers from his Seasons are friends with them. Initially, I hated Brendon & Rachel and Leo & Jamal on their 1st run. (S.20 & S.23 respectively). Rachel was always having meltdowns and waterworks but we can all blame Vanessa & Ralph and Art & JJ). Leo & Jamal were mischievous and always employing dirty tricks with everyone in S.23. They were both likable the 2nd time around (S.24). It showed a different side to them both. Leo & Jamal now part of the M/M teams that I like. Dave & Connor were likable in their 1st run (S.22) but hatable in their 2nd run (S.24) If I was to choose, I would have picked Justin & Diana over Art & JJ.

Bringing Art & JJ back with Rachel makes me believe they're hoping for some more of that Season 20 "Haterade" to come about.

It would be more hilarious if they actually work together. Art & JJ's shtick was to basically provoke drama/sh-- stirring, esp between Rachel and Vanessa. It was just an act it felt.

I don't think they were even invited to the Brenchel wedding, but I think it was in India where Art & JJ said something about thinking Rachel was a "nice lady" and they even encouraged her in the final Road Block. So who knows what'll happen 6 years later. And without Brendon.

I'd love to have seen Natalie & Nadiya represent TAR again too, but I think we're most likely to see Natalie on Survivor again, if anything.

Overall I think I'm quite happy with the cast? At first glance I was kinda a bit meh on most of the MM think Bret & Chris could be lulzy. Would've been better without a threepeat though.

Natalie & Nadiya would've definitely made sense because of the Survivor connection esp since we have Rachel bridging TAR and BB.

Now, the consensus seems to be that this is a pretty solid cast. So I wonder what kinds of cuts were made (as were rumored here the last couple of days).

Yeah, I'd love to see Libby & Michael and also James Lim who auditioned on TAR 1st before being chosen for Survivor.

I'm not surprised at all about no team Ocean Rescue. They were a boring, bad team and only gained noteriety because they lost their passports. Jen and Kristie on the other hand, definitely at least somewhat surprising.
Lucas & Brittany are actually one of my favorite modern teams, believe it or not. They were just so real and relatable. We saw their highs and their lows, their loving moments and their fights. I am a HUGE Lucas & Brittany fan!

So excited by this.
It also explains a tweet I saw a few days ago where Phil was describing the famous "my ox is broken" scene as the biggest breakdown in the history of TAR. They wanted to remind us of who Colin and Christie were.

P.S. The biggest breakdown was Flo in Vietnam. Definitely!

Might be an unpopular opinion but I actually LOVE all of the Japan legs, especially the ones with the Japanese game shows, so I'm excited for another Tokyo leg.
