All the Survivor teams are okay, could have done with Jay/Adam over Brett/Chris but oh well. However, I feel like Survivor could have been much better.
Quite disappointed TAR doesn't have FF representation, but I am not surprised as the show has always had a greater MM presence. I'm sure plenty would've snapped up the opportunity to race again. If they dug deep for Colin & Christie, I would've loved to have seen one of the powerhouse FF teams of old return.

Love Corinne & Eliza and wow a Pre-TAR 11 Team, Colin & Christie, the iconic "My Ox is Broken". It never crossed my mind they would bring back a Pre-Tar 11 Team. Still digesting this. Team Fun returning, love those 2 as well. Leo & Jamal return, I think I'm one of the few who like this team. Interesting to see how Art & JJ will interact with Rachel, now that she has her sister tagged along. They were mean to her in Season 20.
For Survivor, I feel they should have casted Jay & Adam. They had a good relationship just like brothers. I would have casted Kelley & Dale Wenthworth. She 1st applied in TAR but got booked on Survivor instead.

Bringing Art & JJ back with Rachel makes me believe they're hoping for some more of that Season 20 "Haterade" to come about.It would be more hilarious if they actually work together. Art & JJ's shtick was to basically provoke drama/sh-- stirring, esp between Rachel and Vanessa. It was just an act it felt.

I would definitely prefer Justin & Diana, Jim & Misti and Max & Katie over Art & JJ, no question. But I think each of them have a likeability factor Art & JJ don't have. (I love Max & Katie, I like Jim & Misti and I don't mind Justin & Diana lol) So, easier to paint Art & JJ as the villains. Maybe it's kind of like a U-Turn, in which after you open your clue and know what the task is, you can force one member of another team to complete that specific task. Exemple: If the task is very physical, a team got use the extreme roadblock on another and force the weaker member to do it. That would create trouble for teams that are not well balance.
So that "new" Extreme-RB twist sounds like the Norwegian edition's Handicap, a.k.a. the "Speed Bump" for Tanner/Josh.

am I only one who love Extreme Roadblock? I mean, that makes all teams to play smart in first rew legs. For example : don't make themselves to be threat or strong so they can avoid that new twist

Caleb/Tai were definitely considered. More than considered even. They were told they were on until the Thursday before sequester started. They were cut very last minute. Keith and Wes from Survivor were also cut.

Actually, that credit would be going to Qatar Airways flight from Auckland to Doha.
It's strange to think that moving forward, there is already a team or even two that we won't ever spot again.

Only commenting on the Survivor teams because I don't really watch Big Brother (and only did a few seasons of TAR, I'm sorry!)
I've never liked Corinne at all. Her meanness never comes off as entertaining or clever, the way that you'd get from people like Parvati or Courtney Yates, but it's just sort of "I'll choose the lowest blow possible and pass that off as a personality trait." The less screen time we get from her, the better. Eliza is a good enough tradeoff that I'll probably still root for them, unless she winds up being terrible and whiny, in which case I'll probably just be disappointed.
Rupert and Laura... egh. I understand the people that hate them, but I also understand the people that love them. Rupert can come off as overly sanctimonious or full of himself, but I think he's a genuine guy that just doesn't have the social skills to understand how he's being perceived sometimes - and the same definitely goes for Laura to a much more extreme degree. I think they're great people in real life, but I definitely see them being targeted and outmatched here, and they'll probably get a lot of negative attention that they don't deserve. It might also go the opposite way and they get a ton of positive attention that they don't necessarily deserve, which will only tick the haters off more. It's really hard to say, but all in all I hope for the best for them.
Bret and Chris would be a really interesting dynamic, I think. The two of them didn't appear super close on the show, but I really liked both of them separately (which is saying something, since the older males almost always tend to be my least favorite contestants after the way-overplayed "hag" archetype) and I'll be interested to see how well they can work together. Chris at least was a pretty solid athlete, and I don't remember Bret winning much, but he wasn't a slouch, either. I could see them either going really far or going out early..

Myanmar is considered to be south-central Asia, what I meant by is the main 4 being Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam

The country will only progress when the people's mentality changes; our economy might be slowly increasing but that will mean nothing if the population's conservative mindset never changes. We still have so many issues rampant across the country. I feel like 3/4th of TAR Visits to India, even International have people behaving so lewd and inappropriately with the contestants.

I remember Phil saying somewhere that they didn't like one of those African countries from 10, can't remember if it was Mauritius or Madagascar. The leg turned into a nightmare for production.

I don't like them but not only were the statistically the strongest out of the 5 returning teams in terms of average placement (2.25) in their previous season (even over Colin & Christie!), they were tied for 5th in average leg placement for ALL TARUS teams over 30 seasons! I didn't even realise how high their average was in season 20 (probably because Rachel & Dave overshadowed them)
It'd be hilarious if Art/JJ lost ten rounds of the Head-to-Head to each of the other teams.

I was ambivalent about Art & JJ. TBH, I barely remember them. But if Rupert/Laura and the Afghanimals are officially out, this may be the first season EVER where I don't care which of the remaining teams win because I pretty much like them all.

Other Races stay mostly in one continent, heck one country and have been just as enjoyable, if not MORE enjoyable than recent TARUS seasons.
I'm pretty new to the community in that I only started watching TAR after Cody & Jessica were cast for S30... But since then I've been enthralled by the show and have watched the majority of the seasons available, mostly following the advice of the subreddit's season rankings. So I wouldn't consider myself a complete newbie.
That said, I don't get the hate for Art & JJ for S31. They were good at the race and entertaining. Maybe one of you can tell me why I'm wrong?

I believe there should be a season where the fans get to choose out of multiple countries and cities and then the top 12 can consist of the 12 legs and also I believe we should pick a cast also... just like how BBUS 7 did and how survivor Second Chances did it..... plus the voting should come out way earlier before the season airs, so they can plan everything

The few times I've followed spoilers live, it really has been exciting when teams suddenly pop up in later Legs. It also makes watching the episodes exciting as well to see where and how teams might have ended up losing or fallen under the radar. :tup:It recalls me that time when we all believed Brenchel were gone by leg 5 in TAR24, only to have them pop up at leg 10 :cheer:

Very unlikely that wouldn't travel back to Asia. Kenya would likely be pulled out due to safety concerns within Somalian border, South Africa could be probably sure for a full leg.

I was just thinking that, too. The only Survivors to ever play The Amazing Race well were Rob & Amber, and even they crashed and burned the second time around.
Survivor actually is a brutal game compared to sitting around in a studio for 3 months. A lot of contestants come out of it losing over 20 pounds.

Just decided to drop in here to express my sadness that Janelle and Britney are likely gone. :'( They were the main reason I was attaching myself to the spoilers as they unfold so much because I so badly wanted to see them do well as it happened and now that it seems they're probably gone, I feel discouraged. I love Rachel but hate Elissa. I love Nicole but hate Victor. I hated Chris and Bret because I found them both insufferably boring. I hated Team Fun because they're annoying as hell. I hated Leo/Jamal because they're so cocky. I hated Tyler/Korey because Tyler is the most annoying racer in the history of the show, imo. And I just don't remember Colin/Christie well enough to be able to cheer for them. I'm just very discouraged right now and not really looking forward to the season now with how many awful teams go far. :faint:How can you hate Elissa? Europe could give three legs within three separate countries (Switzerland, Latvia, Croatia). A leg of Germanic, Baltic and Slavic languages.

I doubt Italy, because the region of Italy that Switzerland is close to is the North which was visited in S29. However that didn't stop Vietnam. I feel like we're gonna get a Germanic country next leg. Hopefully we get 1 more European country, Spain, Uk or Ireland would be great, then South America.
Dreaming of a visit to Latvia or Slovenia (new countries), Finland (which deserves a Pit Stop) and revisit Ireland & Croatia this Season.
Then jump to South America or The Caribbean.
Production did a great job having Laos & Uganda to host Legs. Happy for 2 new countries, Uganda was a very suprising choice. :cheer:

The former is not feasible. It would imply going eastwards on an already westward progressing route, so it wouldn't make sense to go backwards to Israel. Plus, Israel is really muddled up in the middle of a conflict w/ Palestine, too much of a risk. The latter seems a bit more likely.
For the past 4 seasons they visited south and central america, so I expect this season to keep up with this trend. Who knows, maybe they'll just continue Leg(s) 8-10 in EU.

Considering the nature of the cast, I thought it might be a possibility that CBS might try to bring back the Eliminations Stations videos for this season. Wasn't following spoilers back then, but I do wonder if we had sightings from those teams back in the day. Cause those old school Elimination Station features, had some some camera crew with the eliminated teams sent to sequester.

Full disclosure, not a Big Brother viewer at all, so I don't understand how the houses work, so I do apologize for my ignorance on this matter, but what would be chances of them hosting the sequester for eliminated teams at the Big Brother house from another country where they're not prepping for another season of BB. That might allow them to film something for a return of the Elimination Station at a lower budget.

The trend USED to be that teams would act as decoys starting around F5/F6, so really just one or two extra teams running around/following productionThe last time we have seen Decoy for finale was TAR21, i believe
It seems that has potentially changed, likely due to budgeting purposes.
Elimination Station was a good showcase of that (S11-S16), instead of teams showing up at the Elimination Villa, they would call in to inform the others of their elimination from somewhere on the course.
I also don't think we've seen a ton of decoys during the finale recently, either.

I live in Detroit. I can camp out all day on the 3rd and go to all the popular areas looking for crews. If necessary, I could go to the airport and wait as well but that is last case scenario and will be boring. Other than Belle Isle have there been any other leaks/spoilers where they might race through? Would they finish at Little Caesars Arena or Ford Field to keep it private this time? Tell me what to do!

Honestly think casting made this season with the intention of having an Amazing Race Team win. As great as the casting was for the BB Teams (2 winners, 4 Fan-favorite winners), you have 4 moms (most of which do not usually perform amazing on the show) along with 2 actual threats (Nicole/Vic). Survivor casting knew Rupert/Laura would be 1st boots, I highly doubt they thought Chris/Brett would do so well, and Corinne/Eliza were never physical competitors on the show. Team Amazing Race however all had fairly athletic people which is why its pretty much no surprise most made it to the end. Also putting all 3 F/F teams on the non-TAR side, while 3/4 M/M teams on the TAR side is a bit suspiciousOzzy and Amanda exes :cheer: but honestly it would be great if cbs casted Cirie and Sandra and Sandra win a third time :lol3: and she would say “This makes me the queen of cbs reality shows” :lol3:

They usually have one last NEL near the end of the race but there's no confirmation it's in Croatia :duno:

Janelle/Rachel have always been my all-time favorite reality tv contestants. Colin/Christie were from the 1st season of TAR I ever watched and were my favorites.

Yeah, this season was a terrible idea. Probably will be the last TAR season.
They kinda screwed up mixing elite teams like Janelle/Brit, Colin/Christie, etc with bleh ones like Afghanimals, Bret/Chris, Art/JJ, etc. They should have cast legit All-Stars all across the board. True. TBH - It was a predictable season. I learned my lesson that FF teams go out early and the teams that ppl are mixed about make it far. Lots of big personalities for this cast.

maybe i'm in minority, but i like them. They are strong racers, they won 5 legs (most wins) in season 28 and finished 2nd place 3x, clearly not just because of luck :D

Im actually torn about Vicole. I really like Victor. He's one of the FEW nice people to come out of BB. Super likeable, not your typical alpha male. Nicole, on the other hsnd, i can't stand. I wish they'd paired up Victor with someone else, but then again the other option would have been Paul lol....sigh. I'm ok with reusing countries, its inevitable at this point. My gripe is that the 3 countries people will be excited to see this year; Laos, Uganda, and Croatia, all only get 1 leg, while overused countries like Switzerland and Vietnam get the double treatment.
2 legs in Vietnam is so unnecessary! Laos is a hard to get to country and they were there for only one leg?? They didn't even go to the waterfalls. Smh. A mess

If Colin and Christie win this after 14 years, it gives production an important message that, old players from early TAR seasons are good, and they should not use the excuse that 'no one remembers them' to avoid having teams from earlier seasons to join All-stars :cheer:

Not to mention Christie will have to get some credit. Season 5 was the year where the guys did every RB except for 1 (Christie and Nicole the caviar, Kim the Egypt digging). Now with the even RB rule, she'll have to carry more of the weight, so it's nice to see them still holding their own.

Excellent point about Colin & Christie really being from a different era of TAR. It was the last season before the RB limits and the first season of the Yield which really didn't come into play until that pretty dramatic moment in the Philippines. And of course before all the U-Turns and H2Hs. At the same time, TAR Legs were much different back then too. A little more full, not as simple or basic as today's Legs are. So I hope TAR will highlight that fact for C&C.
And definitely hope this opens the door to legit pre-TAR18 TAR All-Stars to return in the future.

Potential finale location comment: I'm keeping an eye out for this one. I feel like it's completely not okay to glaze over the dark history and desolation that has run rampant there for the past half-century; otherwise, the visit would just be moronic and they could have highlighted just about any other city skyline in New England. It's blatantly obvious the city has suffered cultural and financial catastrophe so let's not pretend it's all cars, downtown glitz and old-timey glam there. :res:You do need to keep up with what has been happening in that city the last few years. (I have.) Renewal, Renaissance, and Redemption makes a powerful story for a city and even a winning TAR team. ;)
I'm happy with Colin & Christie winning, they missed it in S.5 or Leo & Jamal because 3rd times the charm. Really not liking Tyler & Korey, very annoying. Are Nicole & Victor out? And clearly it will be no matter what. They are one of the few teams that have gone around the world twice on TAR. That's in and of itself is a rare feat. But I do what them to win to wipe out the nightmare of a flat tire and a bad taxi driver of their original final leg.
The reason why Colin and Christie lost was mainly the flight and the decision of them to check the luggage for the final leg, causing them unable to switch to an earlier flight that Chip and Kim was on. I seriously doubt they would have been asked to sign a release/NDA because I don't think production even realized this could/would happen. They have to get a release from people who production filmed/records for the show, not bystanders. And from the other video link, this is a ecerpt of a much longer You Tube live feed posted online. But it is interesting, to say the least. As I mentioned before, I don't think I've ever seen such a video/audio made and posted before. Confirms a lot of how production does it, and thus, a very unique piece of spoiler.

The reason why Colin and Christie lost was mainly the flight and the decision of them to check the luggage for the final leg, causing them unable to switch to an earlier flight that Chip and Kim was on. I think a distinction can be made between the travel agency, who dealt directly with the teams and camera crews, and this shop owner who is a complete bystander and apparently had no clue this would be happening but was aware enough (especially in the UK) and tech savvy enough to use a live stream feed. WRP has NOT been doing NDA's as strictly as before. I don't know if that is by choice or just something that slipped thru the cracks.
But to have the travel agent in Croatia advertising her agency with a post featuring teams before they even left the building and this example are both unacceptable in my mind.
Having said that, having this example of how much effort goes into storytelling is fascinating to see. But it would have taken almost no effort to edit out the bits referring to their elimination and leaving the suspense open....so! My guess is they had no clue...

The most iconic moment in all of TAR23, tbh. I still remember Nicole & Amy working against Marie, and even though she was in last Marie still managed to surpass everybody and place first after that roadblock. They should've definitely called back Tim & Marie instead of Leo & Jamal, would've made this season all the more enjoyable

It felt really sketchy to me, the casting. Why do I get a vibe that it is somehow rigged on the TAR Side.
Out of the Survivor Teams, I did not expect Chris & Bret to make it far, pegged them as an early boot. Corinne & Eliza, Rupert & Laura, I knew they'd get knocked out early. There are tons of really fit & competitive people on Survivor, they (casting) failed to cast them. I do not need to mention names but yeah.
For the BB Teams, I know Janelle & Britney excel in physical challenges in BB, but they are moms now, so a lot has changed. With Rachel & Elissa, we all know Rachel's racing for the 3rd time, she know's what to expect from the Race being a veteran. Like Britney & Janelle, both are moms as well. Typically Moms are not the strongest on TAR. Nicole & Victor, are clearly a threat, very fit couple just like last Season's Cody & Jessica. I knew they would make it far.
TAR casted alpha Racers, Leo & Jamal, Art & JJ, Tyler & Korey, Becca & Floyd and the iconic Colin & Christie. Teams that never went beyond 5th Place in their respective Seasons. I think the casting department is desperate to steamroll the competition by ensuring that strong TAR Racers would make it very far.
If it was balanced, then it would have been more competitive. That would be great TV.
Just my 2 cents.
Obviously there's some psychology at play when it came to recasting TAR teams,
1] Colin & Christie are a team from a season from the "good ol' days", as casuals would describe on Facebook. Casuals threatening to boycott the show because too many teams are being recruited ? ~Recruit~ a team from a universally liked season so that long time fans have an excuse to not boycott this season.
2] Becca & Floyd are a team from post season 24, so even if the race were to host an all stars/unfinished business, they would cast them. Why? They aren't recruited and nor are they celebrities, so not only would the casuals like them but most actual fans also like them, so an universally liked team to hire.
3] Tyler & Korey, one of the most famous YouTubers to have ran on the race. They have a large fan following and can actually advertise the race a lot on their channel, and "appeal to a younger crowd" about the race. Basically the same reason they even had that theme for TAR 28.
4] Leo & Jamal, honestly no specific reason behind casting these two but they had to have one threepeating team racing this season, and casuals like them, and perhaps to be more religiously inclusive (have a diverse cast? idk)? This is just speculation though.
5] Art & JJ, would you look at that. Rachel is racing, you know who were her arch-nemesis from TAR20 that kept threatening her and her boyfriend ?? Art & JJ! I predominantly feel like they just signed them up for drama.
I mean, this goes without saying that all 5 teams are and must be superfans of the show, but there must be some sort of ~reasons~ as to why only these teams were chosen. This is just purely unnecessary speculation on my part though.
Don't forget Art & Jj were great racers too. They ended up with a AVG placement of 2.25 with 3 1st place finishes, and thats with them racing against the best team of the series.
Leo & Jamal have an average of 3.73 (their average for both season 23 and 24 was the same!)What if their 'curse' isnt 4th place, but getting that average.

Exactly how I feel towards C/C too! TAR5 was the first season I saw and it did hook me up ever since, I still remember the first episode I saw was the pyramid one. I hate Colin back then but as time goes by you really appreciate his passion in this game, and he didn’t really hurt people, just being aggressive. And you can’t deny the drama he created is classic, nowadays contestants are too aware of camera there’s no chance of bringing back same kind of drama.

I certainly didn't like Colin in their initial season as it was viewing. I was more for Linda/Karen or Chip/Kim winning. But, a couple years ago, I watched every season including the first 4 seasons that I had never seen. On the 2nd viewing of the show, I actually saw a different side of Colin and grew to like him.
Now, I am a fan and hope that they can pull out the win.

As much as I want that motto to reflect (believe me, I truly do, and I would prefer TAR to breathe out that little glimmer of history and hope), the inner city and sprawl still have yet to see the resources like financial backing and the "refurbishment crew" like major construction companies to revive the city. Many empty lots have still not been funded or bought and infrastructure is still poor. The housing crisis there is better now than it was a decade ago, but it's still in bad condition. Strange things have happened. Remember, Josh & Brent winning because of final task, even though they spent most of finale leg in last place, will always come to mind.

1. Winner - Looks like C/C won which is one of the best possible choices
2. We get Janelle, Britney, Rachel, Elissa, Corinne, Eliza, C/C all back on TV

The problem with TAR 26 was that there were too few tasks to fill a 90-minute episode. I don't think we'll have that problem this time.

Mark and Elena are terrible people, but mostly Elena. She’s a famewhore and will do anything to get the spotlight. She starts drama EVERYWHERE she goes. Bullying was a big issue in BB19 - the entire house was disgusting towards Cody and Jessica and Mark and Elena were definitely apart of that. My thought on the split of teams. This is The Amazing Race... makes sense to give their former teams more spots. Why should they promote the other shows when they have awesome teams of their own. I would honestly expect Survivor or Big Brother (if they ever did something like this) to load their casts with their own previous contestants as well.

Kinda disappointed that we only get one Leg in Laos. And while the Leg was okay, it was a little underwhelming for the first (and maybe only) visit to Laos for TARUS. It would've been nice if it was paired with another Leg.I can see that I’m in the minority with my thinking. I LOVED this episode and leg! I thought all three tasks were great and better than we usually get in Leg 2.

corinne & eliza were robbed from a top 3 finish this legRupert & Laura were entertaining for the episodes that they were in, but honestly, Rupert gets old. I'm sure we would've gotten annoyed with him at some point because Rupert fatigue always hit in on his seasons and his shtick gets annoying

So I found this extras clip and would like everyone to comment on last night's explosive meltdown with Eliza. Do you think it was actually Rachel & Elissa that made them break down or did the pressure of the race build up starting from the motorbike Roadblock to the point the editors skewed the Survivor ladies' edit to be hostile during their sendoff?I think they've been pretty frustrated all Race long. Always commenting on bad taxi drivers (to their face), annoyed by other teams. This Leg just seemed like the breaking point since they were in last most of the Leg. I also doubt the cab incident is the only reason they blew up. Or that Rachel & Elissa were the only cause since they seem to be perfectly fine with each other now post-Race.

I'm so glad Corinne/Eliza are out. The worst casting choice for this season to begin with.WHAT?! That is so untrue. Corinne & Eliza were a fantastic casting choice. They brought plenty of drama but weren't hamming it up Leo & Jamal style. They were a lot of fun to watch. And we all know that the worst casting choice was Art & JJ

Eliza is such a hater!With those two teams, it looks like what happens on the show stays on the show, because Eliza & Corinne are friends with Rachel & Elissa, and I've seen recent photos posted by Eliza where she was hanging out with Rachel and her daughter. And that's what Corinne says is the difference between her and Eliza. Corinne will respond emotionally and make evil comments, but isn't the deceptive cutthroat type, while Eliza doesn't say malicious things, but she's more willing to make those cutthroat moves than Corinne is.
She gets caught for trying to steal a cab from Rachel and Elissa then is so bitter because she didn't pull off her deceiving tricks lol
I didn't mind Eliza on her two Survivor seasons (would have rather seen Ozzy go when she did in S16), but she and Corinne together go down as one of the worst teams (especially attitude wise), and worst casting options on this show in a long time.lol
From recent seasons, I would say 27's "It's Not Easy Beating Green" is probably the best quote in terms of drama development, especially considering what the whole storyline of 27 was
But that made it one of the worst season about Justin and Diana lol. If they are that great they would have been invited back. Give him another ten years and he can perhaps become a better person like Colin. <3
Halfway through the season and there has been no self-driving and no teams on separate flights. Something is definitely missing. Hopefully we get some of both in Europe.

It feels so refreshing having FF team like them nowadays. They are bringing both interteam and intrateam drama and basically carrying season on their backs after Corrisa elimination. Sad to see them go next episode but I am sure they will deliver.

Especially after last episode, I'm thinking this might be the worst version of Leo & Jamal we've ever had in the three seasons we've had to, I guess, "enjoy" them.Their performance deteriorate strictly right after the first two legs. Since then, we have seen them struggled through 3 consecutive legs, and now, bad mouthing at Rachel's strategy which they also sort of did the similar in All-star.
For me, it started with them talking nonstop about Corinne & Eliza and their supposed "snake"-like behavior when Leo & Jamal themselves have done much worse snakey things over their time on TAR. Honestly, they've come across very hypocritical, their camwhoring is back to, if not worse than TAR23. And they haven't been Racing well at all.Especially since I don't remember if it was Corinne or Eliza who mentioned that she was sitting next to Jamal during the flight to Tokyo, and Jamal was kind of a jerk to them, refusing to even make small talk with whichever of the two was seated with him.

It's not just the anti-Rachel crowd that is being rude on social media. I find it superficial and childish when racers Uturn somebody because they are not close to them, they refuse to help them or something like that (Ex. Brooke's reason to Uturn Vanck & Ashton in Season 29.) In short superficial personal reasons.

Definitely Becca is somehow immature to deal with those situations. I could remember also Becca hitting Floyd when Floyd lost his passport in Tanzania, nevertheless I like Team Fun despite flaws and annoying behavior most of the time. I don't hate Bret & Chris also its just their reasoning during the episode. Reilly sisters were always villains in this season (maybe according to the perspectives of the most teams), but there is something that I feel that I want them to stay in the game for longer and reach final 3.

So when deciding between the remaining two non TAR teams, that was when the social management of the others came into play, since when push came to shove, Team Bromance decided to help out the people that actually took the time to get to know and talk with them over two people that seemingly had no interest in socializing with just about everyone on the race.

It was so much better, and kept the Race more organized in a way.
I am scared if Bitchy Becca is gonna unleash next week. I miss what Phil used say before it, which was to introduce the visited location at the beginning and the Pit Stop, for example: "This is Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands. Located in ..., this city .... And in the middle of the city, the .... This is the n-th Pit Stop in a race around the world." And then followed by the "[TEAM] who came 1st at ..."
I hope they bring it back in future seasons, because it makes the audience know better about the country and location they visited.

It didn't deliver at all in TAR21, so I am surprised they are bringing it back again. My theory is that production is just lazy to come with something new...

I really loved this season when it comes to the combination of the locations and the versatility of the tasks. (except for the Japanese leg which was completely TEDIOUS) .I'm adding the detours from this leg to my list of non-favorite tasks, because did we really need the pole vaulting task a third time? I'm sure there are tons of other options in Amsterdam that don't require vaulting through a muddy ditch.

Having said that, some of the TAR8 deserve to come back, because we did not get to learn that much about each team member back then.I'd especially like to see the Gaghan parents return, because that was my favorite team of TAR8, and it's a shame they had to go out on what was a complete needle in the haystack task
Unpopular opinion: Christie is kind of a weak Racer. I can't remember a time she carried the team or excelled at a task by herself.
IMO, C\C wouldn't have done as well at the drum task without Christie calming Colin down when he was getting a little hyper about the angles of the drums.

Yes, I definitely agree that it's not inherently fair to pit experienced Racers against people who have never Raced before.But Colin and Christie were returning racers just like the other TAR teams and even with all the game changes, no FFs nor yields, and the presence of UTurns, the roadblock rules, and the changes with flight bookings and less cash, that teams from early seasons will most likely be competitive if they return this many seasons later. That should open the doors to more down the line, especially Brennan and Rob.
