IMO, they will spend Legs 9 and 10 in Europe (in a country such as Serbia, Croatia, Latvia or Slovenia) and then spend Leg 11 in Toronto, Canada and then have Leg 12 in Detroit!

What if they have a KOR leg? THAT would cut down a 12 hour rest stop period.

At least if producers don't choose Detroit that is a ghost town and maybe some American cities rather than Detroit that Miami or Atlanta would be an alternate choice as the final city.

According to the link above, Phil and the production crew would be there for props and shooting tasks on July 3rd.

All just my opinion

Please double check the facts. The City has been out of bankruptcy for several years, blighted or abandoned neighborhoods have been demolished and cleared, and much business activity and growth has returned to the city core. And Ford announced earlier this month it is renovating, repurposing and expanding its corporate headquarters campus to centrlize all of its employees in the local area. Doesn't sound like a ghost town to me, but a city in renaissance. It could well be a city that would make sense as the final city.
I'm not speculating whether the city is or isn't a final destination city, but 'I would point out it borders Windsor, Ontario, Canada, a country TAR hasn't visited in quite a while.

The original call for musicians said rehearsal would be about 3:00 PM with filming beginning @ 6:00PM. I Will definitely be in downtown Detroit tuesday afternoon. If the finish line is downtown there are a few big open areas it could be in and will be fairly easy to see.

I guess I'm confused, are we sure there are two switzerland legs? It seems odd we would only find a pit stop for the second leg. Sorry if I'm missing something .

Finally some new sightings! It's been a pretty dry two days!!

So confirmed in Croatia are Tyler & Korey and Nicole & Victor, and based off of airport sightings Leo & Jamal are safe as well.

Still not confirmed sightings of Rachel & Elissa, Bret & Chris, Colin & Christie, Team Fun??

Split has a really small airport, most of its destinations are European cities. If they want to fly out from Split to non-european destinations, it is almost guranteed that they will connect through Zagreb or big hubs like Frankfurt, Zurich and Munich.

Otherwise, they may take a ferry to Bari or Venice in Italy for flying out. The ferry is around 12 hr long and they did that in season 12 too.

Yes, I wrote Croatia on the wishlist thread that I was thinking to put Zagreb on visit, but Split is beautiful with stunning Mediterranean coastline with a famous landmark called Diocletian's Palace. It could be good for water polo activities.

I think Split is not the final destination for this leg
Given the fact that Split is one of the major transit city in southern europe
(Either by ship or by bus)
Teams can either stay in Croatia/go to other Slavic countries such as Montenegro,Bosnia

I'm pretty sure the 1st leg of Switzerland has to be an elimination. Swiss Leg 1 would be leg 7, assuming a final 3 in the finale, that would mean 5 legs to get rid of 4 teams. They wouldn't use a non-elim that early, and then have Legs 8-11 all be eliminations in a row.
