OK, I need some input guys and gals.

Below are what I believe are the correct answers and a couple I need help on.  The main issue is any question about the rappel.  Well there was no rappel.  So either no points for those four questions, or I count the descent as rappel.  Its up to the masses on this one.  My gut is not to count it.

15 Points – Which racer states the title, “Huger then Huge.”
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Dan

15 Points – Which team cuts in line?
0 points - 14 people answered this question - Dan & Jordan

15 Points – Do we see Dan & Jordan get Business class seats?
0 points - 10 people answered this question - Yes

And thank God I actually put it in the game as Seats (not tickets).

15 Points – How much time separates Brent & Caite and Jet & Cord in leaving the Pit Stop (in minutes?
0 points - 2 people answered this question - 11 minutes or more 2:37am to 3:11am  34 minutes

15 Points – How much time separates Jet & Cord and Dan & Jordan in leaving the Pit Stop?
0 points - 3 people answered this question - 2 hours 30 minutes to 2 hours 59 minutes
 3:11am to 6:00am  2 hours and 49 minutes

10 Points – Are all departure times given?
0 points - 17 people answered this question - Yes

10 Points – Does any racer tell us (verbally) how much money they receive at the start of this leg?
0 points - 14 people answered this question - No

10 Points – Which racer is the first to be shown holding a route marker (not counting the one given at the Pit Stop)?
0 points - 7 people answered this question - Jordan, This really appears to be Jordan, even though Dan is at the site first and it looks like he has something in his hand (but its as he is still moving slightly towards it, and we never see it open).  But we do absolutely see Jordan with it.

10 Points – Do we get both a detour and a roadblock in this episode?
0 points - 13 people answered this question - No

10 Points – At the tower rappel do we see any two teams at the same time?
0 points - 18 people answered this question - Yes

Not a Rappel, but if you want me to count it the answer would be Yes.

10 Points – Is the Chest task a
0 points - 14 people answered this question - General Task

10 Points – Does the Chest task have a musical element to it?
0 points - 6 people answered this question - Yes, delivery to a music site.

10 Points – Does the Chest task have a memory challenge to it (and no navigation doesn’t count)?
0 points - 16 people answered this question - Yes

10 Points – Do we see all three teams performing all the tasks?
0 points - 3 people answered this question - No  We don't see Brent & Caite perform the Music Hall Task

5 Points – Which racer performs the rappel?
0 points - 13 people answered this question - Brent

OK, the real answer is no answer.  There is no rappel and thus all questions should be nothing.  But if you guys and gals want I will count their descent as a rappel (it isn't) if you want it to count it would be Brent.  My personal feelings is no points for these questions.

5 Points – Which racer performs the rappel?
0 points - 17 people answered this question - Cord

Correct answer is nothing as there is no rappel.  But...

5 Points – Which racer performs the rappel?
0 points - 13 people answered this question - Dan

Correct answer is nothing as there is no rappel (Who knew).  But depending on what the masses say it's either nothing or Dan.

10 Points – How many times are Brent & Caite awarded 1st (in this episode)?
0 points - 5 people answered this question - 1, Leaving the Pit Stop

10 Points – How many times are Jet & Cord awarded 1st (in this episode)?
0 points - 2 people answered this question - None

10 Points – How many times are Dan & Jordan awarded 1st (in this episode)?
0 points - 2 people answered this question - 6 or more

Getting to Presidio, getting to RB, completing RB, Getting to Lucas Art, Getting to Music Hall, Completing task at Music Hall.  THats 6, so thtas solid, but would we also count Phil stating they have won, even though it isn't subtitled out?  Not that it matters.

10 Points – How many times does Dan say he loves Jordan?
0 points - 6 people answered this question - 1, Once after winning.  And can I just say no matter who I wanted to win that I actually really loved how both brother teams treated each other throughout the entire race.

10 Points – Does Carol & Brandy get in Brent & Caite face at the Mat?
0 points - 13 people answered this question - Yes, and Shame on them for not clapping as they arrived (Carol), and Shame on Phil for bringing it up, Shame on Carol for making faces, and for even talking.  Totally and completely uncalled for, behavior of a classless person.  This and former racers typing out hate mail for teams to read during All Stars.  Makes me ashamed to watch the show.

10 Points – Do all teams make a Star Wars reference (outside of reading from a clue)?
0 points - 8 people answered this question - No, I don't here Brent  or Caite make any reference to star wars.  And seriously Jordan you haven't watched Star Wars????

10 Points – Do we hear Jet or Cord say “My Gravy” at any time during this leg?
0 points - 14 people answered this question - Yes, happens three times in the episode all by Cord.  In cab on way to Coit Tower, in voice over (so don't know where) and during VR task.

10 Points – Which team is first to start the VR task?
0 points - 14 people answered this question - Dan & Jordan

10 Points – Which team completes the VR task first?
0 points - 6 people answered this question - Dan & Jordan

10 Points – Is the VR task a Detour?
0 points - 16 people answered this question - No

10 Points – Do teams have to take a number before performing any task?
0 points - 14 people answered this question - No

15 Points– Do any teams get taken to the wrong place by a taxi
0 points - 4 people answered this question - Yes, Caite & Brent get taken to Lincoln.

15 Points – During some Part of this episode do we get a memory task (memory of the events of the race)?
0 points - 17 people answered this question - Yes, not much of one, but still counts.

15 Points – How many clues (one per location, not one per team) do teams open in this episode (for example the leaving the Pit Stop clue counts as one clue, not three)?
- 7, Clue leaving the Pit Stop, Clue at the Presidio, Clue at Coit Tower, Clue after completing RB, Clue at Lucas Arts, Clue when arriving at American Music Hall, Clue after putting teams in order directing you to Finish Line.

10 Points – When first seeing the Finish Line, Whom do we see first?
0 points - 12 people answered this question - A group shot of the eliminated teams & Phil.  Out first shot is Of the Right side groups of teams (starting with Grandma and Grand Daughter ending with Classless Carol, but you can also see (in freeze frame) the right side of Phil's body.  You can't see the face, but the clothes are a match.

15 Points – How many times is Tiara Gate brought up in this episode (Referring to of course Caite’s Pageant)?
0 points - 4 people answered this question - None

Ok, need help.  I said Episode (I actually meant leg), as I don't usually count things from the previously on segment.  For the real episode I don't think its actually mentioned.  THe closest is about Caite trying to prove that she is smart (she failed).  But she never mentions her pageant experience.

15 Points – What’s the final placement of the episode (1st to 3rd)?
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Other Brothers, Cowboys, Models

10 Points – Who is the last person to speak
0 points - 4 people answered this question - Jordan, Chatty Kathy himself

10 Points – How many miles does Phil say teams travelled?
0 points - 7 people answered this question - 39-40K miles, 40,000

5 Points – Any penalties this episode?
0 points - 17 people answered this question - No

10 Bonus Points – The season is over, we have had now 16 seasons how did this one stack up for you?
0 points - 0 people answered this question - The best
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Very Strong
0 points - 8 people answered this question - Strong
0 points - 3 people answered this question - Average
0 points - 2 people answered this question - Poor
0 points - 1 people answered this question - Bad
0 points - 0 people answered this question - The worst

Personally I thought it was average to Poor.  Like most of the course, most of the tasks, but wasn't impressed with the casts ability (and some of their behavior really annoyed me).

10 Bonus Points – In August/ September we try to keep the streak alive, which season do you think has the best single episode for Emmy to judge?
0 points - 1 people answered this question - Season 15
0 points - 13 people answered this question - Season 16
0 points - 5 people answered this question - Too Hard To Pick

I think most of us knew "the rappel" referred to the Coit Tower ascent that had been spoiled, so I would score it that way.

I thought there was a streak of "I love you bro"s at the Coit Tower
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

There was it was Jordan saying that to Dan.  But Dan only said he loved his brother once (and that was in after the race footage).  Kind of surprised actually that it wasn't more.  They are very open with the "l" word.

Ditto.  Think it's sort of obvious that rappel refers to the Tower task (was only identified as an ascent in the later preview clips?)

The answer should be once because you asked if it was brought in this episode and it was. You never said that Catie had to be the one to talk about it.

I agree, it's ONCE. Brought up during the final 3 recap and it is included in the starting of this EPISODE.

If you're counting the leaving the pitstop as one time they got a awarded 1st this episode, then the above question must include the recap in the episode as well isn't it? Because technically, besides being tagged as first when leaving the pitstop, Brent and Caite were hardly even first nor second after they landed in San Francisco.

Nope as the leg starts with teams leaving the Pit Stop.  They are (and this happens in every episode I think for at least the first team) credited with 1st place, and the time they leave.

Literally, the question: "15 Points – Do we see Dan & Jordan get Business class seats?" Should be NO, since we NEVER see them getting the tickets, as of what I remember. We see them saying they'd love tickets in first class, and then, we see them sitting in first class, so I just would say that we don't see them GETTING the seats.

I personally understand "getting them" by talking to flight attendants or something like that. They got the seats, of course, but we don't see them getting them.

As we see them get those seats its enough for me.  Hell in the thread when asked I even said if we saw them just talk to a flight attendant about it it would count, since we see them talk about it and we see them actually in said seats thats plenty.

Actually we hear Dan saying that they moved up to FIRST CLASS seats.  So if we take his word for it we DO NOT SEE THEM IN BUSINCESS CLASS SEATS.  But he is bragging a bit.  They are sitting in the last row of the middle section of United Business Class seats on a Boeing 777, those usually reserved for the crew since they do not recline as much as other seats in the section.  Also in United First Class, you will not find seats this much together on the 777  So even though Dan claims to be in First Class (liitle does he know what First Class is really like) he and Jordan are in Business Class.

The question is:  "When first seeing the Finish Line, Whom do we see first?"  When we first SEE the finish line it is in Phil's intro and the shot starts off with him standing alone on the matt, then the camera pulls back and we see all the eliminated racers in Candlestick Park.  There is nothing in the question that says where in the program do we first see the finish line.

The question is: "How many times is Tiarra Gate brought up in this episode (referring to of course Caite's Pageant),  If you count being mentioned in the intro to the three teams, then you have to count the answer above to the finish line.  Or both not.  Can't have one with out the other.  And actually the Pageant was never mentioned, just that she was a former Miss Teen South Carolina.

Agree that Brent and Caite never mentioned anything about "Star Wars".

Technically, you should not award any points about the RAPPELLING since it was not Rappelling, but ASCENDING.   You have to go by what is seen in the program not by that which might be indentified wrongly in some "spoiler" or other insider stuff which a person who does not depend upon spoilers would not have seen. The official CBS previews of th is episode just showed persons on the side of Coit Tower and you could not tell whether they were going up or down at the time.   Seems to me this was just a very tricky mswood type of question to keep everyone in the game honest.  Good going, mswood.  In future games we will all be alert to you tricky little moves.

Actually I honestly thought they were rappelling.  I would love to take credit for being sneaky, but nope.  I really thought they were rappelling.

Thank you G-Man, I did forget that I have stated (at one time) that questions are for the leg themselves (not the intros, previews, or previously on footage) unless the question specifically mentions them (for example this is the first year I didn't include a question about the changing intros.

Now before this gets scored there is one problem I need to mention.

On the rappelling questions.  I can't award zero (the game wont let me).  So its either points all around or I count the ascenders as rappelling.

On this one I really do want to hear what everyone thinks.  Its either points for everyone, or points based on it being an ascender.

I really do lean for points for everything (as I did mean rappelling, but I also thought that was what they were doing).

I can't believe none of you corrected me before the game, your all fired!

If no one had any complaints, then we tacitly agreed with your interpretation. Only award points to those who chose the right person (not that it will matter probably in the final standings).

This isn't going to help me (as I put Caite) but I really think I am going to count it as rappelling.  It doesn't seem that different then what they did going down into the wine cellar (of which they didn't control) at that was called a rappel.

Technically, after they grabbed the clue, the did rappel back down to the bottom.  So rappel works.

Well its not what I call rappelling, but it seems to match what was called rappelling in the winery episode.  And that is the rationale I cam going to stick with.
