Here's what I can offer...

The easiest way from the Concert Hall area to LAX is the 110S to 105W. It'd take about 20 minutes or so. Generally M-F, the 110S in the morning is a nightmare. But Saturday is a different story, it's not bad at all. The Sbound lanes have a carpool lane at first, but merge off later.

I think the reason they were able to start on a Saturday is because USC-UCLA was a 7pm game leaving the roads fairly open in the morning (and they are playing at SC this year).

Okay...the Dallas flight to Santiago has left the gate...and NO teams were spotted there.

OK I might be a bit off topic, but technically this is their "first" destination ;)

The way I see it, there are really only 2 places the teams can start at the concert hall...either the main auditorium, or the garden area. Any of the other amphitheaters are quite small.

The ONLY possibility is if teams were preboarded at least an hour and a half before any one else boarded.

I seriously doubt that too.

That Google Earth map of the area near the downtown Hilton had the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion marked on it.

That was a longtime venue for the Oscars, and the Emmys, and I could see that being a theme for Phil to use in his opening monolouge/meet the teams.

European Countries for TAR 15 are only Netherlands, Sweden, Estonia and Czech Rep. Asia had more legs than Europe IMO.

So to make sure, the teams arrive in Santiago at 10am local time? So 2 hours ahead of EST?

Did anybody make it to the Miami airport to get pictures there?  I'm worried that my Jeff & Jordan are possibly on the second flight that left LAX.  Hope they can catch up.

First flight was like 5 mins after the flight from LAX the teams were supposed to be on, like 8:20 pm, no way were any teams able to get on that unless Jesus himself carried them there.

Next flight after that was 11:45 pm.

Now both flights were delayed. The 8:20 pm one left at 8:37 pm, the 11:45 pm one left about 15-20 mins ago, but I still doubt any teams got on the first flight. My bet is most that went through Miami (and no teams were spotted at DFW to my knowledge) were on the latter flight.

Add one thing on, there was a flight in the middle, but I do know that JeJo were supposedly on AA 957. Left 15-20 mins ago, and it's an 8+hour flight.

Where are you getting flight info.  My tracker says that AA957 has not left Miami yet.

First time poster... I just went to flightview.com's flight tracker site and it appears that AA 957 from Miami is currently delayed to Santiago.  AA flight 945 from DFW is enroute and scheduled to arrive just before 9AM local time (45 minutes early).  Assuming teams were in both DFW & Miami then the time gap could be significant depending on how much longer AA 957 is delayed.

ETA - AA 957 has now departed from Miami at 12:37 ET and is now scheduled to land about 40 minutes after the DFW flight.

I CANNOT believe I'm spoiler-ing again. I told myself not to. Stupid curiosity. I blame the Sucks posters for posting a Chile TAR16 spoiler in the TAR15 spoiler thread. :funny:

Is there a chance teams took a flight going thru Buenos Aires?
I'm baaaaaack!

I think the flights left the United States and went straight to Chile (meaning the only stop was in the US going from LAX).

And now that you've started spoiling this season (although its only the first clue), you have to do it all the way through.
