Especially since the likelihood of a Fast Forward (or even an Express Pass) actually appearing after a hiatus of four seasons is nil.

I just found out that Caro doesn’t have a U.S. passport or even a green card.
She says her father is German so I suspect she has a Germany passport which ranks higher than a U.S. passport on the latest Henley global passport index.

She’s in the U.S. on a student visa with OPT that allows her to work for a couple years. She has now permanently left the country. I wonder if this is the first time there’s a non-citizen on the show.

Remember, Phil used to say not allowing Canadians on the show is to avoid unfairness by contestants holding different passports.

I believe this might also by the reason why her and Ray ultimately don't come back to the show, that she had problems with her visa that couldn't get sorted in time for when filming was scheduled to resume.

Rumours I kept seeing on TAR's social media posts today say one of Anthony & Spencer were injured last year. Not sure if there's any truth to it.

Anthony said that he was unable to return due to work.

This season will have fewer than a dozen legs altogether now.

Listings do seem to suggest this race is only getting 10 legs, instead of 11 or 12, unless there's another double episode in the upcoming weeks, which seems unlikely.
IF we are only getting 10 legs, financially it does make sense. Do speculate that what would be the budget for 11/12, probably got merged into implementing all the COVID protocols. Just not sure how that lines up with our Timeline.

CBS gave them the additional budget necessary for the adjustments the show had to make. The number of episodes seem to be partially dictated by having two fewer teams available to complete the season, unless they added more NELs, which Elise said in interviews before the premiere that they did not do.

10 Legs seem plausible unless we're getting 11 if Corsica is x2.

Zurich - Leg 4
Lugano - Leg 5
Corsica - Leg 6
Chalkidiki - Leg 7
Thessaloniki - Leg 8
Lisbon - Leg 9
USA - Leg 10

Episodes have only been listed through Wednesday March 2nd, which would be a total of 10 legs over 9 consecutive Wednesdays. Survivor 42 returns on March 9th with a 2 hour premiere.

Do we have any idea on what the roadblock count rules will be for Michael and Moe (since they missed the first 2 roadblocks)?

It's moot now but Kim & Penn said in their latest recap that the Roadblock count was reset to 0.

Since they went ahead with an elimination for the restart's first leg after all, there stands a chance of an endgame memory challenge.

Salita Degli Angioli in Lugano. They showed the sign in the preview. And the spot where Dusty & Ryan are seen by the lake is at the top of the stairs.

I got a sinking suspicion that the staircase task is a Fast Forward but don't quote me on that.

If it ends up knocking the Boys off the podium for once due to sheer difficulty, then this F6 NEL will be worth it.

Tbh the stairway task is a bit too difficult for rb and dt task so you might be on to something

It isn't a roadblock, two of them are heading to the task area, and they appear to do the task together.

It's quite crappy that this was not a NEL, but at least every team in this race got to race 2 legs.

Assuming a 10 leg race, we have 5 more regular legs, of which 2 are NELs.

There's a decent chance that every remaining leg without an elimination besides the finale is To-Be-Continued, which would make this season the first with zero aired Speed Bumps ever since their implementation.

Is this press photo Lulu & Lala having to jump off the dock at the pit stop after being eliminated? Kind of like how Zach & Rachel had to walk the plank in 28?

The tasks already look like a massive step up in terms of cultural relevance: kalamata olive picking, a meal of souvlaki, and Eastern Orthodox icons.

Greece has two legs because we know the funny old man is not the pit stop greeter of this leg :funny:. This means that we also know Raquel & Cayla are safe on this leg.
