Leafsfan, I'm with you.  I've checked flights to lots of destinations and there are none that I can find that would require a connection in Bangkok to get to Dubai from Ho Chi Minh, unless they departed Ho Chi Minh on a low cost carrier like Air Asia, and then had to change airports in Bangkok to connect with their flight to Dubai, but that seems stupid and risky, I can't imagine any racers taking that option when there was a nonstop to Dubai with space on it.

The Nicole/Vic and Colin/Christy pic says it was taken in Vietnam airport.  Then said that Sue said they were going to Dubai.   So, they may have taken direct flight.    The Team Fun, Brittany/Janelle, and possible other teams, took VietAir Jet to Bangkok based on info/pic from mish_hay.  And then it's assumed went to Dubai, if I'm following the info correctly.

Are we sure Dubai is the location of the next leg or is it possible that some teams connected to somewhere through Bangkok and others connected through Dubai

Either is possible. There's no information yet. And let me take a moment to add that at this point, even eliminations are mere speculation. Until/Unless we reach another point during filming where all the remaining teams are seen by eyewitnesses at the same place, preferably with photos or videos, we can''t be sure.

If they are in Dubai, then they would have already landed and it’s 8:07 pm there right now. So since it says the plane arrived at 6:35pm we should be seeing sightings soon or maybe they will have a rest period

If they arrived in the evening, an HOO delay in likely and we likely won't see much until tomorrow morning their time or about 10-12 hours from now.

Have people moved away from thinking there were 2 legs in Laos now? Until we see the Afghanimals again, I still think that's the most likely. They were there a long time and it just makes more sense for the time frame.

Emirates is a massive connection airline so there's hope. I reckon they're flying to Europe. Eritrea is a no go.

Any new country from Europe would be fine: Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, or Slovenia! 
Going to Hungary, Finland, Romania, Croatia, Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland or Germany would also be perfect with the new country.

Emirates flies to Budapest, Munich, Zurich, Vienna, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Zagreb & Stockholm. These are likely. Maybe Mauritius, Seychelles, Addis Ababa, Cairo, Amman, Muscat or Accra.
