Peach - that's Mirna saying "are you deaf"

*really off topic* I just read that last May TARcon people found out that TAR10 would begin filming soon, maybe some of you can snoop around this TARcon and see what you can find.

Is that Mirna on the beach with the same top as in the helicopter?

If so, then the Honolulu to Lanai helicopter and directly to Shipwreck beach is probably correct. And I agree with whoever said upsteam that their hula looks like welcome to Hawaii happy dance.

We have seen an earlier screencap of Eric and Danielle running across a parking lot (pine trees and water tank in BG) which we believe is part of the Lanai Airfield.  So the teams most likely take a helicopter hop (not Charla and Mirna going through a happy-time hula hula) and then pick up the rental jeeps to drive to Shipwreck Beach:

We have the following scenes:

Charla and Mirna running on rocks with the ocean and shipwreck in the BG

Dustin and Kandice also running on rocks and passing C/M with Shipwreck in the BG

Eric and Danielle running down path through the sand dunes toward beach, D/K follow.  No ship in background.

Question:  are these three scene related as the teams approach Shipwreck Beach for the first task?

If they are, then this would mean that approaching the Shipwreck task Eric and Danielle are first, followed by the BQ's, and C/M bringing up the rear.

The task seems to be to find a ocean kayak, paddle out to the wreck, and find a clue envelope hidden on the sides of the ship (we have had similar but different tasks in the past)

I remeber reading  the forum where the spoiler list first appeared. I found the link off wikipedia but it got taken off. It the forum it said there was no evidence supporting the final 3 order and it was simply a guess. The begging of the list had witnesses to prove it but not the last 3. So its anyones game i think.  ;D

I think RFF was the first forum, wasn't it? And I don't remember anything about there being no proof of the order of the F3...just wishful thinking by me

The list was posted - and that was it, no comment on the F3 or anything, all speculation began AFTER the list was out but, we already knew the f5, f4, and f3 before the list came out.

Welcome to RFF by the way!  :js:

thanks idk it was a long time ago and i remember it was something like ready or not here is your final 4 and it had a dark gray background. and then the person who posted it said that. the final 3 was a guess. The had like detail about the legs to. this was before the race aired. It was like leg 1- and then it would say the team getting eliminted and how it happened and so on

Another puzzlement:

Charla and Mirna are seen by a taxicab at what has been identified as Honolulu Airport.  But if they are waiting for a chopper hop to Lanai then something is wrong since although Charla is wearing the same white shift, Mirna at the taxi cab has on a green shirt over a black topper.  This is the same outfits we saw when they were getting ready to leave Guam (in a hotel lobby it looks like). But when C/M are on the chopper, Charla still has the white shift, but Mirna now has a green sleeveless body clinging thing on (hell, I don't know what they call it).  So, it looks like the two scenes are not related.  Somewhere Mirna changed clothes before the chopper hop.  When and Where?  Ideas?

At the chopper hop briefing room

Peach, some ways back (after I got the time for it)you referred to the E&D airport shot as HNL.  I'm not even sure where now.  But I remember seeing that.

I hope someone can sort out/compile the clothing issues.  We have so much water action here you can expect a lot of outfit changes.

And just a red-flag-of-misdirection:  in the BQ fight sequence, they are initially headed towards the sun, then in the last part they have the sun pouring in on the lhs.  Seems cobbled to me.

And, on the beach run shots, wouldn't you band up your hair when you realize you have a long run to make.  Maybe the end of the road caught the BQs by surprise and they hadn't put their hair up yet.  The hair-down part of the running is right next to the end of the road.  The other shots are farther along towards the ship.   :umn:

Maybe they are fighting over make-up again LOL
I doubt it's going to be big - some people are thinking that this "fight" is why they might lose.

Do you need that info about Honolulu Chateau?--if so I'll find it. I think it was Slowhatch or Boingo . Once we ID'd the running by the water tower we knew it was Lanai airport, but one of those guys matched the exiting from arrivals to Honolulu too.

Remember when we saw the Mauritius unaired spoiler video? There was a lot of hair tying up going on while the teams were being miked etc so I'm not worried about the hair either.

G-man--
you are almost there. We think airline to Honolulu--chopper to Lanai (yes the one with the hula dance}--drive to Shipwreck Beach--run to water/along beach--kayak to wreck to get clue--on to Detours--looks like E/D and BQ's are in the same place at the Kaumalapau harbor and C/M at a different harbor Menele.

The taxi shot is still not timed--but I think it is on their way to catch the evening flights to SF--remember that they will have had prob at least 3-6 hours to freshen up.

Here it is --it was Slowhatch--  here

This shot was taken between 10:33 and 11:03 am (assumes December 16th).

Note that the distance from the airport is less than 4 miles
It looks like teams land in Lanai
Go to the dock at Kaumalapau Harbor
Take a zodiac to Manele Bay
Get jeeps and drive to the shipwreck

This shot was taken after 12:30 pm (assumes December 16th).

The "after" comes from the way the far bulkhead on the ship's deck is shaded.

It's staring to become clear to me that Charla & Mirna are so happy in the chopper because they get the first one.  Then they maintain that lead all the way to the long run to the shipwreck.

Then they get passed.

This sequencing makes it possible to eliminate the PM option for Charla & Mirna at the dock where they have gotten off the zodiac.  Use

This shot was taken between 11:05 and 11:27 am

BTW, the time comes from a shadow line across somebody's left breast.  But it's not who you may be thinking.    :snicker:
