there is a little bay inn in Negril (cant find a picture, to match that stucco wall, with the Name shown, where the cars on stopped in the screen cature)  i think i remember it being described as a bed and breakfast, and picture of the actual house looked somewhat victorian.

there is a Divi Little Beach Resort down there also, but again cant seem to find that stucco wall, or sign thingy anywhere on their site [^/

I have masses of info regarding golfing in Jamaica, cant believe that golf area shown is a Sandels Course, I stand by my theory that it is the #17 Hole on The White Witch Course, it is very famous hole, and that rock cropping seals it in my humble opinion. :(*8

puddin you and I probably know far more about Jamaica at this moment then we care to admit, sure we have been on many of the same sites today.  I spent the good part of the day, trying to locate confirmation about that fort? shown in the Ron pic.

I looked thru all the unnamed vidcaps, from all over, trying to find something.

And Bamboo, dont get me started on that....i'm reeling here =]/

But having a good time, trying to help.

Thanks GMan, but I'm so burned out now.   [^/ I need to work on logistics for getting myself down to San Diego tomorrow.  And those shots just confuse me.  I can't figure out how come the bushes are not lit up.  With no location to help orient it I'm lost.

Interesting stuff

Lucy - Here is the information.  I'll just copy it over here.

Now that all but the final three teams have been
eliminated from this season of The Amazing Race , I
won't be spoiling any of the plot by revealing who was
among those final teams. So without further ado, I can
now share this account provided to me just after the
final episode was filmed by reader Steve Fabersur:

    ==================================================

On a flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Miami
    Florida on December 18, 2004:

Onboard in coach: a couple dressed in nearly identical
light blue outfits with backpacks, videographer
(broadcast quality Beta cam), soundman with baffled
fishpole mike and separate audio tape machine. In the
forward cabin, about a half-dozen production staff
types. Upon arrival the couple dashed down the aisle,
through the jetway and toward the terminal building,
shooting all the time. (The cameraman collided with an
oncoming catering cart as they rounded a blind
    corner.)

This was the only couple being filmed on this flight,
but that makes some sense since, per the published
shooting schedule, they would have possibly been down
to the final three at that point.

[Additional comments from Steve this week:] I knew
from the opening episode. It's Ron and Kelly. And they
were wearing the powder blue shirts they were wearing
when then had to dump all their possessions at the end
of last week's episode. Now, how the race moves from
Istanbul to San Juan, Puerto Rico ????????????.

Here's some further info. Ron and Kelly were the only
Amazing Race couple on the plane. The flight was
delayed, and they really hustled bolting through the
terminal. (As a matter of fact, if you see them
barreling past a fabulous-looking middle aged couple
dragging rollaround suitcases behind them, that's my
    wife and me).

The interesting thing is that the camera crew shot
very little stuff prior to the flight. You would think
that they would pick up shots of them in the gate
area, fretting over the delay, plus shots of them
boarding the flight, but the only time the camera was
turned on was during the flight (they were many rows
behind us, so I don't know what the shots were), but
the flight attendant got on the PA and ordered them to
stop filming. I'm led to believe the possibility that
Ron and Kelly were eliminated in tonight's episode,
and that the flight from San Juan may have been their
return flight home (or to the finish line) and that
the filming taking place was a series of "pick up"
shots that could be used anywhere else in the race
they needed shots of them in their airplane seats,
    running through a concourse, etc.

One little bit of trivia. When I asked Kelly what they
were filming, her response was "A travel documentary."
I would be willing to be that that is the stock
response they are instructed to give to such
    questions.

The part that bothers me, is the mention that they had "backpacks",hmmmmm If they were stripped on their stuff in London, they wouldnt have any of that.  I know we have the "spoiler pic" of Ron in Puerto Rico (in shorts, talking to the two guys, who we think are sound guy and other) But he only has that small backback.  Maybe they begged enough money to get one for Kelly too.

He also mention that Ron and Kelly flight was delayed from San Juan, so it should be somewhat interesting to see which flight they were on that was delayed, which might cause them to "raaaaaace" to maybe have to make a connecting flight.....then we can maybe get a clue to where the final mat is.  I think I heard it was an AA flight from San Juan.

Any of you that are more adept at the airline schedules, delays and such, could check that......I myself do better research on places and things,LOL

In this area there is an interesting possiblity which came up when I was trying to find pix of the conveyor system which may be the site of our famous high dive antics of Ron, Amber and Uchenna which by the way do not go on the order they are edited as the order in which they dive. Perhaps our Chateau expert can pinpoint the time by the amount of sunlight or lack thereof.

G'Man,  The new AOL clip suggests that they are all there at the same time (at least R&A and R&K).http://tv.channel.aol.com/styles/realitytv

Lucy,  I posted this at TWOP earlier.

"The flight was delayed,"

The only AA flight on December 18, 2004 to Miami that fits this description was flight AA 1550. It was scheduled to depart at 11:15 but actually departed at 11:58. The flight arrived in Miami at 13:38 (scheduled was 12:58).

Yes post the vidcaps from that aol link, I refuse to install the aol media player to watch it.

From what I hear, Rob and Amber are somewhat lost at the jump, get confused on what they have to do.

Don't have the time in my head, but what time did we figure that RaceyGirl took her picturres in SJU?  If I remember correctly we made it that she left on the AA1350 at 12:55 and we assumed that Ron and Kelly were still in the airport when she left. So this would make the sighting of Ron and Kelly on the flight leaving at 10:35 or 11:15 hard to reconcile.

Didn't she say she saw them around 9:40am? TAR contestants often get into an airport and leave on the first plane out which could be just an hour later if there are seats available...

Will go back and check, but that sure looks like the REYNOLDS ALUMINUM PIER in Ocho Rios where they are jumping from. That would make more sense for the other tasks to be done in the same area.  The taxis have to make their way from Kingston across the island. Will search out location of the Little Bay Inn to see if it is on the way.

It was 9:40 EST. She didn't change the clock in her camera so it was 10:40 a.m. in San Juan.

I would ask the guy what flight he was on if I knew what board he originally posted the spoiler at? Anyone know?

This guy is Edward Hasbrouck from The Practical Nomad.  I emailed him and asked if he would reveal the flight number.  Have not heard back yet.
