I find it a little hard to believe they'd go back to 13 episodes for the first time since TAR11.
Also doesn't make sense the premiere is on September 27th and not September 20th instead. If they have to take a break for the 3 hour Survivor finale then the TAR finale would air after Christmas.

This is what I'm thinking. I have no idea why they would go back to 13 episodes and have the premiere on the 27th.

With 35 and 36 both having 13 teams, TAR's clearly latching onto this idea of "no Non-Eliminations" they started in 34. Can't see why they'd go back to an extra leg now, it's counter-productive.

September 27th to December 13th is 12 weeks, which lines up with the 12 legs speculated in the race timeline.

The 3 hour Survivor finale will be on December 20th, which is consistent with the previous four survivor seasons all having 13 episodes.

EDIT: Oh didn't see the article on the previous page saying there are going to be 13 episodes. Maybe they do something like a Thursday episode one week after Big Brother ends (November 9th).

Looks like the rural Vietnam leg basically used TAR Canada 4's "Hydrate" Detour from Cai Be. Fill a sampan with coconuts, paddle downstream and unload them at a stand (there's a clip on YouTube since this task caused the BB crossovers' biggest fight that season https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_RtaiI0vsE)

For the first time my TAR ORG experience has paid off  From that commercial, the skydiving at the very start takes place in Stockholm:



The tag number of the plane has a few flights based in Sweden



...and as fate would have it there are two flights on July 3rd:



The previous times they've had a skydiving task that I can remember (TAR 9, TAR 22, TAR 24) they've used multiple flights for individual teams or groups of teams which makes me think this is a task for one and only one team to perform...maybe it's a Fast Forward?

So if thats the case, then clue might tell them to complete the puzzle (and a tightrope) of their first destination's nickname to racers, with racers might have a little to none clue that the first destination and the starting line's city share their nickname.
