I'd rule out T-Mobile Park because Seattle is hosting the All Star Game on Tuesday.
Tuesday is a LONG way away lol

There are other festivities leading up to the game like the MLB Futures Game tomorrow.

Yep, starts today. https://www.mlb.com/all-star/schedule

I’ve never been to Seattle (I live on the opposite side of the country) but there are so many possible things there: gum wall, Pike Place, sports teams, Starbucks, Jeff Bezos/Amazon, space needle, mt rainier, video game companies (Nintendo, Microsoft)
Hopefully the finish line isn’t gas works park lol
The last time TAR visited PNW was during S13, Seattle was last visited in S10 (start) and S3 (end, though that final leg also visited Hawaii)
Wonder what the tasks will be, especially the memory task (if there is one) and the finish line location
I just think the number 92 is cool

I hope we DO have a memory challenge! Seems like they have been in short supply lately...at least the ones we can see!

I’m extremely hyped for the season! No offense to the Covid seasons (understandable under the circumstances) but it feels like we’re getting real TAR back  :clap2:

You're right, I do have a problem.

I have a problem with the sexist casting department playing into misogynistic tropes that "the American audience would rather see men on this show than women", and after 22 long years, they have finally won, and they have succeeded in guaranteeing another needless all male victory.

Out of 36 seasons, there have been 21 seasons in which more men were cast than women. Production is surely pleased as punch with this final three.

I for one am not here for it.

A brief history of what eliminated black mms and why tonight's finale is important
S.22 - eliminated by a swimming  challenge on leg 2
S.23- The ticket agent booked wrongly for them on leg 3
S.27- Changing detours. Leg 4
S.30- Aftermath of the head to head leg 5
S.34 - puzzle challenge leg 10

Am so happy that we finally have a black mm in THIS HISTORIC  finale ,hope they win and make more history !! FINGERS CROSSED WATCHING HERE.

Hey don't blame RFF! The better thing is to write both CBS and WRP a blistering note expressing your concerns with actual numbers and a good explanation of why this is so important. I think there are a lot of people who feel exactly the same as you. There is POWER in groups so use that to your advantage. I too would love to see more amazing women on the show! It concerns me when ONE episode wipes out the women...that shows that perhaps that task was too difficult for women.

SO take a survey and use the #'s to support your letter to WRP!!

I second this!

I contacted the entire casting team directly before season 35 last year, asking for more parent-child teams per season and we got two that time. Then before this one, I contacted them again asking for more FF teams over-40 and a mother-daughter. And what do we have this season? Hey presto.

Reaching out to WRP on social media or via email is possible! As is reaching out to casting, who are all over Instagram! We're big fans, so we can absolutely give friendly feedback.

So why not reach out and say 'hey, cool that we got an all-male final, but could we get 6-7 FF teams for 37? Seeing as we've had so many where there were at least 3 more MM teams than FF, but never the opposite, why not do a split like 6 FF, 4 MF, 3 MM next time, to even out the odds'.

Easy.

I want to ask for more variety of the location

Like,

I want them to go to some new countries
But at the same time, don't visit the same city over and over again

With Thailand, they can go to Sukhothai (The historic landmark like Angkor Wat)
With Taiwan, they can go to Kenting
With Central Asia, they can visit Tajikistan with Istravashan aka the Silk Road
With South America, they can try Guyana
Also Europe, try North Macedonia and pay homage to Mother Teresa or Bosnia (pay homage to the victims who lost their lives in civil war)

I am not saying the route in TAR 36 bad
However, I would like to see more "human" aspect
Remember S6, teams have to visit the slave harbor in Senegal or S11 Auschwitz?
I mean the recent seasons have been decreasing the human or exploration aspect

When you race around the world, the thing you obtain is not just a Million dollars but also the people who help you, the culture you have never in touch before

That's why I really want them to insert more exploration aspects into the race instead of just keep racing

I'm extremely happy with Seattle being our finale location and even more delighted with a night leg! Seattle is overdue for another visit and I believe night legs are some of the best legs we have ever seen on TAR!

This route gets much better once they hit Europe! And as for the boot order, I will wait to see the individual team personalities before I make my judgement on whether I can complain about the actual boot order  :funny:

I'm getting excited to see the season! Can September hurry up already???  :funny:

chill out lol, tbh it's more surprising it took 36 seasons for this

Also this is at least a diverse F3 on paper, 2 guys in their 40s, 2 young black guys, a deaf guy (which, disabled people are severely underreped on tar) and i'd say Garrett & Joel and Rob & Corey seem like surprising finalists on paper, gender diversity is important, but every form of diversity should be celebrated

This. I'd be more upset if it were 3 teams of alpha males. But they might actually be cool.

I’m not going to “chill out” on issues relating to systemic misogyny in the entertainment industry, especially when it manifests in a show I hold so dear to my heart.

I agree, gender diversity is important. If you feel the same, then why are you so quick to defend this system?

I never defended "the system" i defended the important diverse identities outside of gender, like race and disability status

Are they self-driving? Now that's one Covid-resultant change to the race I wouldn't mind being permanent. Racers should NOT be at the mercy of a taxi driver in the final leg!

Self driving it seems for this leg, although they have used public transportation this season (in Leg 5 at least)

If this is going to be 90 minutes with only 3 teams I'd imagine a long leg, just like Dublin seemed very long
