I'm into the idea of an all-M/M final three.  TAR US has literally never had one, so it shouldn't feel like a retread.

Canada and Latin America have had one each, and both seasons were much maligned because of it.  I can see this season being the same if that happens.

This would be the most unexpected final 3 mm if it happens.  They are definitely not young like Canada, so people would be more interested in it.  Coz they are underdogs.  It would be worse if it was the Two eliminated m/m

It seems like they have no problem casting more MM teams than FF teams on a particular season (seasons 33/36), so why can't they do the same with FF teams? I'm getting a little tired of it seeming like the odds are stacked against FF teams every season.

Totally fair.  I just hate seeing those be the only comments on the board as a result. 
It's like the France thing.
Creating a full-scale show like TAR is no easy task.  Any show, for that matter.  And bundling that in with the logistics that need to come together with it is majorly difficult.  The flac that TAR gets thrown by people is mind-boggling; if the show needs to hit easier countries, like France, for the sake of cohesive development, I'm happy to see it again-- France is vast, beautiful, and interesting, and the show hits a lot of different regions throughout it.  But it seems like everyone's lived there their entire lives and has seen it all, so maybe I'm the outlier.   

Either way, excited to see the season pan out regardless of the finalists.  Fingers crossed they hit France or, if not that, Italy.  Gimme a leg near Cinque-Terre.  TAR's still never seen the Leaning Tower.  Or Naples and Amalfi!

Same.really wish the father/daughter team could make it to the Final leg.

Genuinely disappointed at this boot order. This might actually end up being one of the worst boot orders in the show. I know that's dramatic but all the F/F teams out this early when we had FOUR is just sad. Every other season where we've had 4 F/F teams a F/F team won. This is only the third season to have so many F/F teams. And they're all out. Meanwhile still 3 M/M teams in......... sigh.

Praying for Steve & Anna Leigh to make the final 3. Please save this season.

With only 2 female racers in the final 5, this is the 5th season to have a final 10 racers of 2 women and 8 men:

Season 36 has Ashlie and Anna Leigh

Season 32 had Aparna and Hung

Season 15 had Meghan and Ericka

Season 4 had Kelly and Millie

Season 2 had Tara and Paige

On the other hand, there has NEVER been a season where the final 5 had 8 women and 2 men.

Well yes it's unfortunate that FF teams went back to back to back once they hit the Europe but we will still have 7 EPISODES WITH 3 FF TEAMS so it's not that bad I think? There are multiple seasons where FF teams were slaughtered one by one in the earlier legs...

We lost FF teams but we still have 2 parent & child teams in F5, which is first I believe? excluding FE and grandparents with grandchilds.

On the other hand there is real possibility of another first and that's all male F3 which is hopefully not happening.

I don't really have any weigh-in on deserving, but if it is all-male, I hope that they're all really enjoyably-portrayed.  That way, they can counter the sacrilege of being all-male that the current sentiment seems to convey.  It seems like how people actually are and how the show actually unfolds is nothing in comparison to the idea of an all-male final three which, again, has never happened in 35 seasons of the U.S. show.

If it were an all-female final three, this wouldn't be the same discussion.

You guys are too much. You post about how toxic this board has become, and then post the above when you know it’s clearly going to get a rise out of people.

Which do you want? Because from where I’m sitting, it looks like there’s a big part of you that are looking for arguments.

You say you don’t like all the moaning, and then proceed to moan about the moaning. This thread is simply here for people to let off some steam, by yes, saying how saddened they are that all the female teams have likely been eliminated. By all means, they’re allowed to say they don’t want to see an all male final. End of. You can then post your own message saying as much as you like all female teams, you don’t mind an all male final three. And that’s where it should end, frankly.

All this outrage at people’s opinions is frankly dull and only serves to raise arguments.

This is pretty much my sentiment.  I’ve pulled away from other sites (Reddit being one) because there’s a general air of focusing heavily on the ‘do not likes’ of the show.  It’s a frustration to find a niche place to discuss the show only to find that the sentiment is there too.

And I admit it comes from a place of calling it out in the hope that people will realize their concerns are coming from what seem like arbitrary places (which, hey, those are opinions) but I’m not interested in opening the threads to find people telling me that every new season is a bad season before anyone has even seen the show.  As much as this is a spoiler site and there’s a level of knowing how things unfold from a skeletal point of view, these are, at their core, uninformed points of view.  People are throwing the baby out with the bathwater over something they haven’t even experienced yet.  And to me that’s a bit crazy.  People are convinced, and I fully believe they’re convincing no others to think the same.

And at that point, it feels like they’re not in support of the show.

I’ve said it before— creating a thread to bitch and moan in will continually foster an echo chamber of negativity.  I get if it’s felt that people need to have it, but it’s encouraging bitching and moaning more than it is just acting as a place to house it.

Kyle, why not stop reading the thread then? You can always start up a new thread in TAR Discussion about the positives of the race and what you’re excited about seeing in 35-36. That could be a good alternative perhaps.

Hope that gives you an idea on how you can change your perception around. Because, you know, this is a bitch, moan and squeal thread. The clue is in the first two. If you want only positives from people to brighten your day, start a new thread in TAR Discussion. Because posting time and time again here, telling people how to feel, and how not to, is a one way ticket to unhappiness and a kind of self-flagellation, frankly.

Maybe splitting this thread into two, one for bitching and moaning and one for squealing/positive only comments, would be best for everyone. You can choose the type of comments you see, positive or negative, while still remaining respective of others and their opinions. The people who keep complaining about seeing negativity can have a place to discuss their own positive thoughts without seeing the negative ones.

Honestly I would still be happy with a M/M team winning, there’s been a lot of older teams in this cast and it would be cool to see one win. We don’t know team personalities yet, these remaining M/M teams could be pretty funny/entertaining, for all we know (hopefully no 5 team alliances this time)
