With all this discussion & speculation of the Middle East possibly being the next destination - you do release that the TAR Detectives have repeatedly stated Qatar is a "no-go zone" right?Qatar was tried in Season 25, but there was huge problems with Elise or something (the Detectives can probably explain this better then me!) As a result, if the Middle East is visited, it'll probably be a UAE/Oman/Kuwait/Bahrain re-visit, because of course, Saudi Arabia is also a no-go zone with their historical & current treatment of women...
Did CBS get rid of 50% BIPOC rule? I am trying really hard but I can not count 13 BIPOC people in this cast.
Personally I don’t have an issue with the 3 countries so far? In what world is Vietnam overused lol this would be its 7th season out of 36. As for Thailand and India, it’s just cool to see those legs ran with so many teams (as opposed to being endgame legs). Language barrier alone makes them more difficult on the teams. My one complaint though is the CASTING. Where is the diversity??? 34 had only 2 non-POC teams I believe. This one seems like it’s 60-70% non-POC. And don’t come at me for complaining about this because SO SO many seasons (both early and modern) lacked diversity so there’s no reason we can’t have a streak of POC-dominated casts.

Israel could be a contender for the ME because the issues with getting their passport stamped have mostly been fixed. I think they're down to only a half dozen or so countries that won't stamp your passport if you've been there and they're mostly places they won't go like Iran and Pakistan.

I remember the speculation while TAR34 was in neighboring Jordan, but they'll never go there. Israel's too much of a politically-charged issue to the US, CBS would get dumped on for making it look good.
What do we think the odds are that production brings back U-Turns?
Quote from: cole1024 on June 23, 2023, 10:29:25 AMWhat do we think the odds are that production brings back U-Turns?They might. In 33 the reasoning was "given what's going on in the world, we don't want mean-spirited gameplay", then in 34 they shifted more toward "it's unfair with the group starts".That's all moot now that we're back to commercial flights.
I thought the reasoning was just because they wanted teams off the race course asap? To limit exposure.Hopefully they are back in 36. We need drama to keep the episodes interesting.
