IMPORTANT! Even though we are a spoiler board, we do NOT want to have the episode spoiled while it is airing.




SO PLEASE ** NO  OUTCOMES ** to be posted before the show is DONE airing East Coast time!

And we are ON!

Previously on TAR, 6 teams began racing on the island of Corsica! At the Detour, Kim & Penn set the pace while Ryan & Dusty faced unfamiliar territory. Akbar struggled at the obstacle course setting the stage for Ryan's comeback. Kim & Penn paddled their way to victory while Akbar & Sheri came up short. 5 teams remain, who'll be eliminated next?

We return to a beautiful vantage panorama of Corsica. Kim & Penn and Raquel & Cayla depart in the first group. ROUTE INFO: They must drive to Tour de Fautua where they will be treated with casu martzu!

Penn noticed there was a brick wall feeling racing against Ryan & Dusty.

Teams are getting in convertibles.

Raquel & Cayla believe they only have to win first once to win the million dollars. They both had to move back into their parents' homes following the covid shutdown and discuss their financial uncertainties. Both teams enjoying the racecar road trip.

Both see a person to ask for directions.

We return to Group 2 of Arun & Natalia, Lulu & Lala, and Ryan & Dusty leaving to the tower. Ryan & Dusty talk about their stressors after leaving in the second group and have a plan for the second Corsican leg. Arun & Natalia feel momentum after placing higher than usual on the last leg. "No room for error."

Lulu & Lala are awestruck with their convertible. They discuss needing to haul a** at the cheese task.

Kim & Penn drive past the parking lot while Raquel & Cayla find the turn and get to the tower first! "The girls are already here." -Penn

Kim wants to make it to final three with the flight attendants because they are stiff competition.

Raquel & Cayla arrive at the cheese.

Raquel eats first and beasts through it. "Don't breathe it in." - Raquel. Kim & Penn arrive right behind while Cayla says this is the worst cheese ever. Kim & Penn go the wrong way and nitpick at it.

DETOUR: Row Row Row Your Boat or Gently Down the Stream.
In Row, teams must choose a fish and kayak around buoys to match 10 matches and bring them back to the beach to receive their next clue. In Stream, teams must ride an Aquivision boat and find 10 metal fish and sort through a ribbon with an assortment of fish to find the matches to receive their next clue.

Raquel & Cayla go for the rowing.

Kim & Penn start the cheese task. Penn is horrified while Kim is interested in the making of it.

They choose the Aquivision Detour.

Raquel & Cayla wait for Kim & Penn. They confide with Kim & Penn and switch to the Stream task.

Group 2 is in a mad dash to the tower. Arun & Natalia can't unlock their car and sprint in last place. "Are you kidding me?"- Arun

Ryan & Dusty arrive 3rd at the cheese. Ryan says it wasn't worse than anything in prison.

Lulu & Lala are shocked as Dusty makes them aware it has bugs.

Raquel & Cayla get to the stream first followed by Kim & Penn.

They get to the Aquivision boat and ironically can't see anything because the water is murky.

Lulu doesn't like cheese and is easily grossed out. Arun & Natalia follow get to the tower, but can't see the cheese station.

Ryan & Dusty drive off while Lulu is close to hurling.

As someone who doesn't eat dairy, I can't imagine how tough this is for the twins- pungent cheese PLUS maggots 

It seemed like the quantities varied between teams, or is that just me? Maybe Dusty just unhinged his jaw like a snake, but it seemed like it took them fewer bites, whereas it seemed like Raquel and Cayla had a lot of bread.

We come back to the twins finishing the cheese in 4th, they go to the Aquivision task, while Arun & Natalia are last to finish the cheese. They also choose the Aquivision.

Group 1 starts to see the fish and come up with rhymes and associative words to memorize these fish together.... ummm...

Ryan & Dusty are right in front of Lulu & Lala while Arun & Natalia catch up to the twins. Unfortunately, they split in directions.

Kim & Penn and Raquel & Cayla start recalling what they saw and go to the dive shack for the ribbon/booklet. They start scouring.

Twins arrive at the Aquivision while the best friends get to the boats. They criticize the other task as Kim & Penn get their clue in 1st.

ROUTE INFO: Drive to Port of Plaisance in Bonifacio.

Raquel & Cayla follow just behind in 2nd.

Lulu & Lala and Arun & Natalia are together at the pier waiting for the boat to return. They plan on doing the task together...
Ryan & Dusty start reeling in the lines in search of their metal fish while the twins and father/daughter duo are on the boat now.

Ryan & Dusty find 3 of 10 fish and Dusty says the hardest part is reeling in the buoys because you need brute strength. Arun & Natalia and Lulu & Lala start shouting at fish descriptions with much chaos. Ryan & Dusty start splashing in water into their transparent boat as they collect their 7th fish.

Kim & Penn and Raquel & Cayla are still en route to Bonifacio. "We are killin' it today." - Raquel.

Arun & Natalia and Lulu & Lala finish the fish watching trip and it's in fate's hands now. Ryan & Dusty are malfunctioning and are capsized.

I doubt it matters much, but I hope they chewed up the maggots thoroughly. The thought of having live worms moving around in my stomach gives me the willies.

We come back to Ryan & Dusty's sinking chances of snagging another 1st place. They realize they needed to flip the boat and scavenge the oars and fish dangling on.

Kim & Penn see the parking first and get to the harbor. Raquel & Cayla get to the clue first though. They follow next.

ROADBLOCK: Who wants to get knotted up?
One team member must sew and repair a hull on a net to receive their next clue.

Cayla and Penn perform the RB.

"Activate nerd glasses!" - Penn This should've been the title quote instead.

Arun & Nat and Lulu & Lala finish the fishwatching and making up time while Ryan & Dusty get their 10th fish.

The group 2 duos get to the fish booklets and are flustered. Meanwhile, Ryan & Dusty get their clue in 3rd and leave the other behind in the sand dust.

Arun & Natalia and Lulu & Lala's teamwork failed and they select the wrong fish together. They decide to redo the task again as a super-team. Sigh.

At the Roadblock, Penn and Cayla continue their stitchwork and grasping at strings.

The Aquivision is back and Arun & Natalia and Lulu & Lala re-strategize their memorization technique by divide and conquering.

Cayla reveals her mom is an expert knitter and says she might be disappointed in her. Penn finds it easier to spread the net out with his feet as an anchor at one end.

Arun & Natalia and Lulu & Lala represent their findings and are correct. They leave the Detour in 4th and last respectively.
