Previously on TAR, six teams flew from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Hyderabad, India for the first-ever titled MEGA-LEG! Five teams made an alliance on the second leg, and from then, helped each other... and took on their competition (Sorry Kaylynn & Haley.) But cracks began to form and a smaller alliance emerged. But the Mine Five continued to dominate. Now, the Mine Five is over and the competition heats up. Who will be eliminated next?

Volleyballers open their clue at 3:25 PM first. FLY TO Siem Reap, Cambodia!

Teams must pick up a gnome at an undisclosed location. Can we actually begin announcing direct locations instead of just an entire city?

Will & James depart 2nd minutes after Riley & Madisson. All are discussing the alliance about being on the same page of getting rid of De & Gary.

De & Gary depart 3:58 PM in 3rd. DeAngelo is interested to see the savage nature of the other teams. Hung & Chee depart at 4:26 PM in 4th. They are excited about the Travelocity Roaming Gnome. Aparna & Eswar are last to depart minutes after and discuss a take-no-prisoners attitude they will try to uphold for the next legs.

"It's anyone's game right now." - James

They fly off on the same airplane to Siem Reap.

We come back to a mad sprint to Psar Chaa Old Market. Hung & Chee meet a taxi driver called Spider. "Thank you Spiderman!"

Will & James arrive at the market first, followed by Aparna & Eswar. They try to find the clue with no luck. De & Gary and Riley & Madi get off the taxi.

Will & James find theirs first.

ROUTE INFO: Assemble a tuk-tuk, then travel by this mode of transport to Chong Kneas Floating Village! Throwback!

Everyone is attaching to hitch to the tuk-tuks at the same time. The Core Three are in the lead while De & Gary finally find their gnome in 4th. Aparna & Eswar are completely lost.

Eswar & Aparna get their gnome and leave in last from the market.

Riley & Madi, Will & James, and Hung & Chee get to the Chong Khneas Village.

Travel by boat to a floating Buddhist temple and donate the basket of goodies to the monks to receive your next clue.

De & Gary and Aparna & Eswar get to the Chong Khneas clues in 4th and 5th. All teams in boats!

They rehearse what they want to do. Suddenly, their boat breaks down.

Hung & Chee catch up to them and surpass them for first. Will & James pass them as well in 2nd.

We come back to the volleyballers' shipwreck. Hung & Chee are adamant about their 1st place lead as James isn't too concerned about them.

Hung & Chee reach the temple first. They must follow a specific procedure of offering to receive their next clue.

DETOUR: Fish or Farm. In Fish, teams must haul in a net more than half a mile long. Then, gather 15 lbs of minnows to receive your next clue. In Farm, teams must prepare a garden to receive the next clue.


Hung & Chee do Fish while Will & James do Farm. Hung & Chee end up going to the garden because the boatsman drove them their automatically.

Hung describes her gardening experience back home as an advantage. Riley & Madisson, DeAngelo & Gary, and Eswar & Aparna reach the temple and choose their Detours - all Fish.

Hung is planting lemongrass while Will & James reach the floating farms. Will explains he had a garden, but got busy, and died.

Volleyballers reach the net and watch the locals as they do. The fish go flying. "Full tricep extension."

DeAngelo & Gary reach the Detour. Riley discusses U-Turning them if they get to the board first.

Panthers discuss maintaining a steady momentum in pulling in the net. Eswar & Aparna also begin the fishing task.

Will & James are looking at the example while Hung sees a papaya plant on instinct.

Riley & Madisson start hauling assnet to try to finish while the others are steady on their pace. Hung & Chee are getting tired. Will & James see everyone chose the Fish Detour and discuss the Twinnies' U-Turn strategy.

Volleyballers finish the net first and must collect minnows. DeAngelo & Gary get to the end of their line next, collecting more fish.

Riley & Madisson get their clue. Double U-Turn ahead, a handmade local version. Somewhere on a bridge.
DeAngelo & Gary also finish. Mad boating to the board.

Eswar & Aparna finish next and move on in 3rd place. Riley & Madi and De & Gary reach the island and find the Detour. DeAngelo & Gary U-Turn Eswar & Aparna.

Boat back to Siem Reap and go to Khmer Ceramics Center.

Riley & Madisson burn the board with the Twinnies' strategy. Eswar & Aparna reach the board and think it's game over for them. They hate them. Aparna shakes her head on the boat.

Agree that the NFL team should have UTurned Will and James.  Will and James amongst others had planned to UTurn the NFL team anyway.

ADDENDUM:  The NFLs strategy that UTurning the brother and sister would give them a cushion did work out in their favor.  However, even if they had UTurned Will and James, the volleyballers would have UTurned the brother sister anyway, so the elimination result would have been the same.  The only difference would have been that the boyfriend team would probably not have come in 2nd. 

And if DeAngelo reads the posts....Really DeAngelo?  What universe would make you think that the tiles would come off the mold without a prepreparation to separate it the tile from the mold?  You have to watch instructions and follow the steps.  The analogy to things in life is that a firm foundation is required otherwise subsequent steps will crumble.
