I don't want to be the one annoying everyone else in here, but the people who couldn't submit on time will be getting a new deadline now?
What if someone takes like 3 or 4 days to submit a leg? The penalty will be the same?
I would like some clarifying on that, if possible!

There's no exact rule for how long after the Design Showcase a late design can be submitted. (This may be changed if we see fit.) Since commenting and scoring take several days, it is possible for a designer to submit a couple days after the deadline has passed.
We usually reach out to anyone who didn't submit to check in on how things are going and what their timetable is. Right now, we know the plans of the designers who haven't submitted.

Thank you hosts for all the effort you have put into this game and your comments, but like I already PMed you, I figured I should announce that I will be withdrawing from the game. I certainly have not had the most time in my life and I was powered through to complete my first two legs but frankly did not have the time to submit something this round.

Good luck to my fellow designers and I will be lurking!

Game Announcement

The hosts have decided to shorten the length of the game by one round, making DC 8 six rounds. This decision was made to help move the game along faster, as well as make a better use of the time of the designers.

Because of the removal of one round, the three bottom-placing active designers in Round 3 will still be eliminated in addition to the three designers who withdrew.

The advantage for Round 4 is still in play as well, so still plenty of weight to the results of Round 3!

Good luck to the rest of the designers! The end of this round will mark the halfway point of the game, so keep up the hard work.

We all know REAL LIFE COMES FIRST.

And in these crazy Covid days life is more complicated than usual.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Hi all!

First of all, I really thank you for your participation so far.

We've seen some withdrawals because of personal matters, which were inevitable.

The hosts have been discussing about making this game running well, but we also need your agreement on this. Like the poll Peach has just posted, we would like all of the remaining designers to PM us the answer of following questions:

1. Are you okay so far with the 7-day deadline, or do you need more time given without asking for extensions?
2. Can you only do the designing during the weekends?
3. This game is planned to be finished in the end of October if there's no disturbance. Is there any timeframe from now until the end of October that you probably won't be available?

If you all are good to go with the timeframe until the end of October, we will continue the game as usual with 7 rounds. And, in order to fit the amount of designers left, we will only eliminate the bottom 2 designers, to wrap up our Top 10 in the end of this Round.
