My options for Legs 9 to 11, all options are NOT TRUE, just my guesses.

OPTION A:

Leg 9: Kazakhstan to Myanmar or Cambodia
Leg 10: Myanmar or Cambodia
Leg 11: Myanmar or Cambodia  to South Korea

OPTION B:

Leg 9: Kazakhstan to Malaysia or Indonesia
Leg 10: Malaysia or Indonesia to Australia
Leg 11: Australia

OPTION C:

Leg 9: Kazakhstan to Thailand
Leg 10: Thailand to South Korea
Leg 11: South Korea

I highly doubt they will visit Myanmar given the Rohingya crisis there.

The one key factor in my mind to a possible leg in Germany is flights, direct or by connections, to Kazakhstan. Otherwise it wouldn’t make a lot of sense. We’re now at 14 days of filming and barely halfway through the nominal 12 legs.
Two things may be involved— definitely a little ne’er than average filming period, or maybe a 13th leg after 20 seasons of 12 leg seasons.

Seoul, South Korea was already visited since the strangers season (S29). I don't mind another visit to South Korea because I'm a filipino so I love the places there.

Yeah, that should have been the case, so the route would be Paraguay --> Germany --> Finland x2 --> Kazakhstan
2 Legs in Finland, that would have been better a combo of Helsinki + Rovaniemi. It was just a perfect time to visit there. It's the winter season.
I've always dreamed of a Leg in "Santa's Headquarters" (Rovaniemi) and TAR has not given Finland the Pit Stop that it deserves.
I currently have a friend touring Scandinavia and Baltic countries right now. I told her to look out for some TAR filming but nah.

One more Asian country then jump to Oceania for the end Legs that would be awesome!! They can go to South Korea after Kazakhstan then head to Oceania. Australia or New Zealand.

It's all about tasks nowadays...

I am missing good old TAR with airport and navigation drama.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, I liked how in the older seasons teams were required to get their own airplane tickets for every leg they had to fly somewhere. Now production buys plane tickets for every team and it is super annoying. What ever happened to the suspense of your favorite team not making a flight. What happened to the days where teams had to look for the earliest possible flight to the next location. Now the show is about doing silly tasks at every location. I don't mind if the tasks are culturally relevant, but at least mix it with travel drama. Remember the TAR 5 Russia episode, a quarter of the episode was teams finding flights form Buenos Aires to St. Petersburg, and the last quarter of the episode focused on the caviar task heavily. Why can't we have episodes like that anymore that has the best of both worlds.

I don't know if it's the current state of air travel being more normalized, mitigating the hoop jumping, but I do know most travel workers and airport officials in this age won't tolerate the stuff that happened on TAR more than a decade ago like seat availability upsales, petty ticket agents, "secret" faster flights, frequent overbooking (this still occurs but less often nowadays), and our very memorable bickering matches. People and brands now are hypersensitive about their reputation on TV, especially with all the controversy surrounding airlines United*ahem*, so I feel like the new editing for the show avoiding pre-destination footage could be related. Last time I clearly remember this type of drama was during TAR22-23 between the Frankfurt Airport of Doom for Abbie & Ryan and the Beekmans, and Chester & Ephraim somehow being sold tickets on the wrong flight - that might have been the tipping point. I haven't seen anything like this since, and again, those seasons were also BARE MINIMAL with pre-destination footage.

I do want to see teams buying tickets THEMSELVES though where flights are always open season. If it's a city where airplanes are limited, then yes, feel free to get teams tickets so they won't be stuck for two days (e.g. the Accra, Ghana to Kiruna, Sweden flight in TAR17). But if it's like Paris-Charles de Gaulle from Asuncion, another relatively large int'l airport, that's where teams should be able to DIY their journey regardless of flight availability since connection flights are frequent. Take them to an internet cafe or travel agency like the good ol' times if the airport can't be shown. I know this show can squeeze in these moments because they've done it countless times before, 17 full seasons worth of pre-destination hype, before going rogue on it. And I hope they can remember this old-as-day mantra:

"Focus on the journey, not the destination"

Very well said Rachel. I totally agree with everything. The production should not spoonfeed everything. If I could remember vividly, the last flight drama I've seen are S.23's Nicky & Kim vs. Tim & Marie. Really proud of that moment. In your face Tim & Marie! There was also the S.25 Malta-Singapore where the Dentists tried to screw Kym & Alli with the flights much to their disappointment. Sad because the Cyclists went home that Leg.


On a different note, can't help but remember S.17's Nick & Vicki telling their cab in Accra, Ghana to take them to Kiruna, Sweden.

I've been monitoring RFF since S.22 as a guest and only became a user during S.25 airings. I must say this is one of the least-spoiled seasons.
I mean, the locations were spoiled but not much is given about the boot order we know the 1st 3 boots but we never know which team was eliminated in Trinidad & Tobago and Brazil x2. It is unknown if the Blonde F/F's survived Paraguay, Paris had 1 sighting and Germany had none, they flew under the radar. For Kazakhstan, no pics or vids of Racers so far, just actors for the task + Phil. It intrigues me because Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport is a busy airport and no pics or vids were provided and Paris is a top destination for tourists, it just amazes me, we live in the social media age where people love posting what they see especially if it's something that you don't see everyday like people running in the airport with cameramen or teams inside planes, it would think that would be obvious.

It's not fun, tbh. I am searching hashtags everywhere and no sightings, so frustrating. Last season was fun. We had sightings of teams every leg, we thought teams were done at one point and then they appeared in next leg. It was exciting.

7 legs in and only what we have is Paraguay leg and pit stop photo of bearded MM team in Paris this season. I always got my hopes up when I see new post in LS thread only to found out that it's random comment or something not that interesting like photo of Phil, lol.

If you think its frustrating, think about how frustrating it can be for the detectives trying to get info and piece everything together for everyone. Its not fun to have so many ?'s.

This is one of the harder seasons for sure but anything can happen!

Love/hate relationships of early findings. Love that we do get to see where teams are traveling to, but also thrilled to know that production is keeping the route more under wraps this time around. More surprises when we do get to see it on TV.

I wonder why the challenge designers wanted not just one but two switchbacks in Paraguay when Dave (Rachel & Dave) was the only one who really struggled with that whole leg let alone Roadblock... Otherwise, why visit Asuncion again if there was really nothing else they could offer... I feel like they passed by missed opportunities.

Truthfully, the aftermath of "Jersey Shore is gonna beat us" is the most memorable that episode and should have been a Mika waterslide-style flashback over those tasks
