I just really want Australia/Oceania to be visited this season!!! It’s pretty ridiculous that it’s almost been 10 seasons skipping over an entire continent 

If the route included it this season it would prob go SA-Europe-Asia-Australia

There are enough bigger European countries they haven't hit in a hot minute (Germany, Spain, Portugal) that would be perfectly fine to see this time around. Honestly, if they hit Oz after doing these great first legs throughout SA I'd be pretty much fine wherever else they go.

I think that I would agree on this. This would be the first time in since season 2 without Europe visit.

1. While Indian team was being interviewed, i think i heard the Yield thing.....not crystal clear, but i think the words that came out of Phil's mouth were that.

2. All the teams look so fiercely competitive, they're all frantic, fast and strong racers for what i could see.

3. In my opinion, i DON'T like re-use tasks....magic only works ONCE. And using TWO tasks from season 20 AGAIN? 

4. Other thing i DIDN'T like its that i learned from the guy i talked to in the plaza (watermelon task) that they had the ENTIRE route weeks ago!!!! They knew exactly to go, the best route to get there and every team already had their taxi driver for them..!! I mean, WHYYYY...? Let THEM figure out their own way, like it was in the gold days of TAR.! So pissed about that......

That is super strange and annoying!!! Especially in an urban city, they should not have travel provided for them to each point  .

yeah....it is all given in these days! why provide a taxi driver that knew every checkpoint of the race? let them run and grab a tai, get lost and get there as it was!
It was funny to hear indian team said: "Plaza Italia, you know..?" i was like: just get in, the taxi driver knows EXACTLY where to go

Unfortunately this is not new. Production has provided cabs for some legs for a while now. They do what they can to eliminate some variables out of their control. Phil has also said that his biggest fear during filming is when teams are in taxis due to a lack of control.

it was a saturday afternoon in a city full of taxis...they ran the race in the center of the city.! all the locations where at most 3 miles away from each other......there was NO NEED to provide those taxi drivers

I wonder if the provided taxis are due to security and production permissions. Get permission to air and non-disclosure in advance and not have to bother with it on the fly. Also, can do background checks to vet the drivers. Less worry about a rogue driver running off with a team and crew and holding them hostage. You know, rich American company, right?

I wish we could've seen them have to run on foot the entire leg because I was looking at the map of the leg and with how close the locations were to each other, it wouldn't be THAT difficult.

Why would production do this, why do they have to provide taxis everywhere, why can't we have some legs be self-drive and some legs be taxi drama like in the good ol' days of TAR. Let teams find taxis for themselves, the only vehicles production should give out are cars for self-driving legs. Also why would they let the taxi drivers know where the legs' locations are, what ever happened to the times where the drivers too would screw teams over due to language barriers.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, I liked how in the older seasons teams were required to get their own airplane tickets for every leg they had to fly somewhere. Now production buys plane tickets for every team and it is super annoying. What ever happened to the suspense of your favorite team not making a flight. What happened to the days where teams had to look for the earliest possible flight to the next location. Now the show is about doing silly tasks at every location. I don't mind if the tasks are culturally relevant, but at least mix it with travel drama. Remember the TAR 5 Russia episode, a quarter of the episode was teams finding flights form Buenos Aires to St. Petersburg, and the last quarter of the episode focused on the caviar task heavily. Why can't we have episodes like that anymore that has the best of both worlds.
