I can't believe the yield is back. They must have seen TARAsia Season 5. I am so excited to see the yield and U-Turn in the same season. I am so happy. 

But hopefully not in the same Leg. And not together on the penultimate Leg either. lol

I am loving how CBS is giving attention to TAR. They might be on the road to 2 seasons a year. They are filiming in Summer 2019 as the casting website said.

I am glad the Yield is back. My one hope is this is the season where we finally see the US Version of the show make Yields and U-Turns co-exist like many International Versions do. Maybe if this season goes well maybe we'll see this in the US Version from now on.

Ok, so there is sad trend in last seasons (it began in TAR27 and then got worse) of female teams being eliminated early in the race and not placing higher than 7th.

TAR27 - 11th, 8th, 4th
TAR28 - 11th, 9th, 8th
TAR29 - 10th
TAR30 - 11th, 10th, 3rd
TAR31 - 9th, 8th, 7th
TAR32 - , 8th,

Out of 16 female teams in last 6 seasons, only 2 or 3 (depending on how far asian FF team'll make it) made it to 6th or higher place.


There is also another trend of allafroamerican teams being eliminated early in the race in last seasons.

I feel that casting needs to cast F/F's in the likes of Dustin & Kandice, Brooke & Claire, Nat & Kat, Kisha & Jen, Kym & Alli and Kristi & Jen.
The common denominator of these F/F's is that they have the athletic abilities combined with brains.

I would consider Amy & Maya and Tiffany & Krista as well. While they may be perceived as underdogs, their enthusiasm and determination is something to take note of.
They want to make it till the end as they want to break stereotypes of scientists and cheerleaders respectively.

I could still be NEL even with Phil going to the task. Production can only use the area for so long before they have to pack up so maybe Phil is going to let them end the leg, but tell them that it's an NEL.

Not happening, it would give that FF team time benefit for next leg because they couldn't navigate to the pit stop in this one.

If this was the case, it is simple, they will be slapped with the time penalty.

Well we will see next leg if the F/F team in last are sighted. The Race is unpredictable. Today, I was surprised to see the Yield back.
