It's interesting that we've seen at least 3 M/M teams that consist of professional athletes eliminated at 4th place. First was Matt & Redmond on TAR 29, then followed by Alex & Conor on TAR 30, and then this time another professional athlete alpha male team was eliminated at 4th place. Is this the born of a new TAR curse?

All of them should be on the journey to the airport now that this leg is over. The flight back to New Orleans (if this spec is true) would be very long and need at least 2 connecting flights to do so.

IIRC flights out of the Philippines to North America usually have needed a Tokyo connection to the US. Whether that is still the case, I have no clue. I won’t speculate about where in the U.S. per Peach’s request a few days ago, but the first connection point would be a clue.

Here's my two cents for NFL being an hour late at the penultimate mat:

After the purple team finished their task at Liwasan, we immediately followed them heading to Mehan Garden.

Purple went to Mehan first, then beards then NFL WITH NO backpacks.

At Mehan, while watching the teams fixing or arranging musical stuff when suddenly both NFL team went out of Mehan (there's only a specific gate where they enter and exit, we were outside of the gate) outside Mehan, I heard the braided guy said "This is not the city hall!"

I initially thought they were at a wrong place (not Mehan but somehwere else) or they were missing a place before getting to Mehan. It didnt make sense to me at all coz the other teams were doing the task

Later on, a friend who stayed at Liwasang Bonifacio when we ran to Mehan told me that the NFL were panicking searching for their cab.

They paid for the cab driver but still left their luggage in the taxi. And my friend heard the NFL saying "to the city hall!"

NFL went to Mehan Garden without their stuff.

My spec is that the NFL, directed their cab driver to the city hall so that they can run without their backpacks and later realized that the next location was not the city hall itself, but Mehan Garden near the city hall. I have a photo of the NFL without their backpacks running to Mehan.

It prolly took them an hour to search for that cab driver who got lost in their way

Sad for the NFL guys to possibly have gotten eliminated because of that. But it will definitely make for a dramatic episode!

How strange, what a weird time to be concerned about your backpacks. Most teams would literally ditch them hours later at the start of leg 12. Guess they were worth a million dollars

Probably left their passports in them. More risky in Manila than in Moscow though.

If that's the case then they should have used the TAR-sponsored fanny packs. One of the much needed things in the Amazing Race Club. I'd ditch the backpack as long as the passport is not there.

Here's NFL entering Mehan Garden. They don't have their backpacks or even fanny packs with them. Twas a 10-15 minute run from Liwasang Bonifacio to Mehan Garden. They left their stuff in the cab.

In red circle is an unconventional clue box. Only the Purple team found it right away. Beards already doing the task. NFL currently third. They didnt notice the clue box for like 5 minutes.

The truck in green circle is where they will get their musical instruments. We really can't see it from where we were.

Looking at the videos of the teams catching beads, I'm thinking they have to catch a particular color string of beads, maybe their team color. Possibly red and yellow for TAR.

Looking at the videos of the teams catching beads, I'm thinking they have to catch a particular color string of beads, maybe their team color. Possibly red and yellow for TAR.

These were red and one yellow caught on the YT video. I would say they have to catch a certain number. Not clear if for example each teammate has to catch their own color as an ARI, or if this is a roadblock or detour.

Looks like one team member has to catch yellow beads and one member had to catch red. After catching a certain number of beads, teams got the Roadblock clue and have to travel to their next location via parade.
