It just sucks that Rachel & Elissa couldn't eliminate their U-Turn targets, and it was SO CLOSE.

Tbh I don't mind Becca & Floyd but that would've been soo epic if they got eliminated because they were U-Turned by the Reilly sisters for not helping them LOLOL

In fairness to Rupert & Laura though, they were pretty good with actual tasks in these first 2 Legs. They just sucked horribly with navigation and arguably chose a "bad elephant". [/Gretchen]

Corinne & Eliza killed the tasks in leg 2 and only got 6th.

If there's something to bitch about with the editing, too often in contemporary TAR, they oversimplify things to the point that we lose a lot of that navigation stuff that can put teams ahead or behind. Things that happen between Route Markers that they would usually include years ago.  It happened in Leg 1 when Rachel & Elissa somehow moved up a few spots on the way to the Mat. And then of course in Leg 2 with Corinne & Eliza.

Instead, they spend too much time on the tasks that often don't really deserve the extra minute or two that could be devoted to something else, like a bad direction or a slow taxi.

I thought they showed 3 teams passing Corinne & Eliza on the way to the Pit Stop? Unless you're referring to something else.

most legs are too easy, like this one, at least 1 very challenging physical roadblock or even second detour

yea, but challenges like looking for gnome in morocco or looking for chest at beach in S25, thats super hard

You can also possibly spend hours on a challenging puzzle. Or a difficult task about identifying things.

About that chest task, it's purely on knowledge of compass and luck. Have you dug on the sand before?

I want to post about how amazing Colin and Christie are and I am now officially a fan. They have matured so much and mades me realised that maybe the race indeed, should wait awhile before asking teams back. Look at Leo and Jamal. So many races in past few years but same old rubbish.

Competitive, sneaky, yet nothing new to the table.

AND, Rachel is such a different person without Brendon. She’s ACTUALLY positively entertaining.

She was the same way on her winning season of BB. Once Brendon got voted out, she became more focused/determined to win

Even on TAR24 though, there were far less meltdowns from Rachel, if any. That's why some fans viewed her more positively after TAR24. So we likely won't be seeing any TAR24 flashbacks this season. Which is just as well. No one wants to remember TAR24, let's be honest.

They don't deserve to win even though they are a strong team

Totally agree with you, Afghanimals is the only strong team that is not worth watching for. In short rubbish . I could tolerate Brooke's tantrums and Jessica's attitude more than them.
