Not sure if this is the right thread but I don't know where else to put a couple of questions for the detectives. Has TAR ever used decoys on other than the final leg? I can see using them on the final since they have to bring teams back from sequester anyway but it seems a lot of expense to haul a number of eliminated teams from place to place and provide them with multiple accommodations just to have some decoys.

Also, I know RFF has been doing detecting for TAR for awhile. I am wondering how this was done before the rise to prominence of social media.

The trend USED to be that teams would act as decoys starting around F5/F6, so really just one or two extra teams running around/following production

It seems that has potentially changed, likely due to budgeting purposes.

Elimination Station was a good showcase of that (S11-S16), instead of teams showing up at the Elimination Villa, they would call in to inform the others of their elimination from somewhere on the course.

I also don't think we've seen a ton of decoys during the finale recently, either.

Hoping both Swiss legs are eliminations. F7 and F6 elimination. I bet leg 9 will be a NEL.

At least F5 are racing in Leg 9. Leo & Jamal have shown in the vid, but Becca & Floyd are still in.

I don't hate them. Hated Afghanimals in their original season, warmed up to them in AS2. Indifferent to Bret in MvGX.

It's just people like Eliza, Corinne, Janelle, Brit, Rachel, Elissa, Colin, Christie, and Team Fun are much more exciting to watch esp. entertainment wise

Afghanimals most probably because they're a three-peater. Well, I like them and because on their past two seasons they prove that they can race through Final 4 both times I don't really surprised that they reach this far. PS: Maybe I'm the only one who wants them to be on the Final 3 because they didn't make it to Final 3 twice and I want that they have a chance to run at the finale.

For Chris & Brett, I don't really know why because we haven't seen them racing yet, but most probably there are some who dislike them back when they're in Survivor (which I also don't really know why) and there are some who dislike them because they think there are other couples they think more worthy to join TAR than Chris & Brett.

I actually don’t know why I hate Chris and Brett (I sometimes judge people by looks) and I only watched the pre merge of survivor and then lost interest once Michaela gets voted out

I was listening to a podcast that Elise and Betram did on remote controlled..They asked them there fave destinations.They mentioned many destinations..Among them.included Dubai, Japan,Vietnam,...Brazil....those countries are in Ar31,maybe they were giving us hints..i think the Latin country maybe brazil..but nothing is guaranteed
