So leg 10 very likely ended a few hours ago. So checking onto departure flights out of Schiphol Airport.
With of the information we have available, which are:
- we generally know the direction they are travelling, which helps reducing the list of likely destinations.
- we know Phil and part of the production must depart first, before the teams are released, so it has to be a destination with flights that allow for this configuration.
- Teams must be in their rest period now, so assuming a 12-ish hours of rest, leg 11 will probably start on the very early morning of 07/01.
A few destinations do seem to pop-up
1) The UK. Many flights to the several airports. And they don't even need to do England, they could maybe do Scotland. Though Northern Ireland or Wales do seem very unlikely.
2) Dublin, Ireland.
3) Madrid, Spain or Barcelona, Spain
4) Lisbon, Portugal
5) Toronto, Canada
All the European destinations, if teams are able to fly in any of the morning flights, they'd arrive in the destination in time for a leg in the city during the entire afternoon of 07/01.
Toronto would be more complicated, as the arrivals would be mid-afternoon, but still possible to have the leg be run on 07/01, but they might choose to avoid it due to Canada Day, and set a HOO, so the leg in the city would have to be done in the morning of 07/02.
UPDATE:
Flying to South America or Central America, is possible, but feels unlikely from the flight options out of that airport.
