It was 7 iirc. Only Jessica & John, Joey & Meghan, and Mark & Mallory were behind.

Anyway, to be within the topic of TAR28, I gotta say I really love the 4-way battle for last from the roadblock to the pit stop.

In no way was that an eight-way race, even if CBS or someone considers it to be - the teams simply checked in close to one another, but it's not like they were all running at the same time and saw each other while doing so.

I still can't get over my annoyance to the disappearance of the team names or relationships and either being replaced with usernames.

I kind of like how the Express Pass didn't return AND the U-Turn(s) in Leg 3 weren't used. Kinda gives you an idea of how the Race, these days, plays out without all those things.

Bringing up All-Stars (TAR24) at the end was very fitting. Pretty equal in terms of groan-inducing moments and teams. After two good Legs, we get this. The Leg itself might have been just as horrible as the opening credits of doom.

I would've rather watched more of than random dog at the park bench Detour looking at the camera than most of the rest of the Leg lol

The leg would've been a lot better if the pit stop was just around Geneva. TAR could've just send the teams to Chamonix over the night during the pit stop, or even better, let them go to Chamonix on the following leg.

Yeah, there really was no good reason for the Chamonix Pit Stop. Not even out of logistical concerns since they could have just released teams on the next leg at whatever time they wanted.

Well, I don't remember saying any of those stuff.

However, we now know that places that are "dangerous" are still possible for visits.
Other examples: Thailand was in Marital Law during TAR26 and Zimbabwe was under something

during TAR27.

The Atlantis in Dubai is hardly the Gaza Strip or Syria. And the Alps are at least a couple of hours away from Paris which was only more than week removed from a deadly terrorist attack.

Bertram and Co. have pulled out of countries last minute for much less.

Is this season worth catching up on? I haven't watched since the 2nd episode and even though they were good I can't get interested in the season enough to take the time to watch it.

Watch the third and skip the fourth and fifth

The third leg's second half onwards is absolutely phenomenal.
