Pony up requires teams to deliver 2 loads of Peet via Shetland Pony

Light my fire requires teams to participate in a viking festival!

I think I did see them at the castle but I can't be 100%

I'm not going to call it 'sloppy' editing, but essentially rushed editing. There are 9 teams and in the space of 43 minutes it's very difficult to fit EVERYTHING in. Only a few teams were shown getting clues from the Puffin, and a few teams were shown getting the clue at the castle. All the other teams magically show up at the Detour. In my opinion, they should've cut out collecting the clue from the Puffin and showed every team getting the Detour clue. Oh well, loving the Shetland scenery!

Looks like the Fire detour is very detail orientated.

The physical part of the Pony detour is going up the hill

Clearly the Pony Detour, despite some of the ponies, was the better option. I'm sure Brooke & Robbie would be almost done if not already done with that task had they not gotten lost and wound up at the fire-making Detour.
