I LOVE THE SHEEP. I didn't know they could jump like that... I like how Adam & Bethany's sheep just casually walked into the pen... The crazy ponies were pretty great too. Jim calling his pony Satan... :funny:

And Amaya called their pony Cupcake  :luvya:

Oh great the dentsists won again! So much for the Safe!  :res:

The leg was beautiful though. The tasks were good. Certainly better than the detour from the previous leg. I was surprised so little "donkey drama" with the pony. I want to see Shelley and Nici screamed like hell because their pony won't move lol

Keith and Whitney stole this episode. Yeah!!! Keith and Whitney out of everyone else. Kym and Alli were right. This cast is sorta boring. Everyone's nice, no dramas (the show could always use a little drama). I am not even talking about something like petty Alliance drama from last season. Drama doesn't always have to come from several different teams. It could come from one team (Hint, hint, Marie and Tim).

where's the Roadblock? Looks like it was sort of maneuvered towards Bethany's favor by reducing the amount of Roadblocks. I want to see if her and Adam could still finish at the front if Bethany selects to perform the Roadblock for the leg.

The wrestlers fell behind yet survived again lol. Keep 'em around!!!!

Looking forward to Copenhagen. What happened to Shelley!!!

I feel like ever since TAR18, the soundtrack has just gone downhill. It is SO underwhelming. Music plays a big part in telling a story. They could've really amped up the excitement during the drive to the Pit Stop between T&T and the firefighters. If you flashback to TAR17, Leg 5 in Norway, the music played while the Volleyballers and Chad & Stephanie race to the Pit Stop is so much more dramatic. Even though it's obvious that Chad & Stephanie were ahead and driving isn't that "thrilling", at least the editors made the effort to create some tension with the music. I just feel like they aren't going to the effort anymore.. they could take some tips TAR Canada and TAR Australia

In this leg:

Like:
- Firefighters eliminated.
- Self-driving leg.

Dislike:
- Another injured ankle? Please, no more Dave V.2... I don't want Michael & Scott on the next All Stars.
- Jim attitude. It's disgusting.
- Where is the ROADBLOCK? Three legs and only one RB? I hate it!  (:;) I want RB back! With RB the possitions can change so much...

It was a nice leg, I like it, but the Roadblock problem is killing me. :gaah:

Love this episode! :hearts: The animals cooperated well for the show. :funny:
~Nice and funny to see Kym & Alli enjoying their trip around the world.
~The firefighters' elimination was not caused by the foot injury, but that factor slowed them down for the whole leg. Sad to see them go. :( I have completely no team to hate so far. TAR did well in casting for this season.
~The detour choices are nice! :hoot: The editing with Tim or TeJay hoping for bad ponies and the scene with the bad ponies was brilliantly funny. :funny:
~The lack of roadblocks could probably be because of Bethany, probably. I'm fine with that though, I just hope the next episode will have one.
~That sheep task definitely changed most teams' placements, as well as the clue going to the pit stop.
~Misti & Jim have brains and brawn. They're hard to beat IMO. :stare
~Amy & Maya going from 2nd to 5th was :oh , but at least they weren't at the back of the pack like the firefighters.
~The dentists and the surfers are no doubt the strongest teams in the race. If they don't mess up mid-race, they'll easily make it to the F5. :oh
~The wrestlers beat the cyclists to the pit stop on a footrace this leg eh? Well, the cyclists beat the wrestlers to the pit stop on a footrace as well on the 1st leg, so now... they're even. :funny:
~Brooke & Robbie have finished at least 1 task in last place for the past 3 legs, and then they catch up on the task before the pit stop. Now I think they're the underdogs.
~The 9th place curse wasn't that effective, but the firefighters were misled several times, enough for Tim & TeJay to beat them. Also, they got the first few clues in 2nd. :torche
~Tim & TeJay would've been good candidates as well for the 9th place curse. A 2nd in the first leg is all they need. Okay, enough of my favorite curse.

Overall, I'd give this leg a 10/10. :hearts: I'm hoping for a NEL soon.

I LOVE seeing the teams like this!

http://www.cbs.com/shows/amazing_race/video/M_BFRx0FdGUlcE2sASHOiRIJB4503sFr/the-amazing-race-campout/ They should really air some of this at the beginning of Episode 3.

I didn't like to see Misti and Jim winning not because I dislike them, but because they made ONE right decision to pick the right detour and subsequently had a substantial lead throughout.

That, brings me to the lack of Roadblocks this season.

The sheep task could have easily been a Roadblock, the punting task could have been a Roadblock. Yet, they deliberately made it a 2 person task? Wow. WHY. WHY. WHY. WRP. WHY?

I liked the Detour, loved the sheep task, love the scenery, love Scotland.

BUT HATED THE LACK OF A ROADBLOCK. AND MORE TASKS? They could have played a mini game with the penguin or what I don't know. Try to solve the clue that they have gotten by fixing a puzzle or whatsoever.

BUT NO, THERE WASN'T ADDITIONAL TASKS. It's always 2 tasks per leg and teams go to the pit-stop.

YAWN.

Thank goodness Scotland delivered. Besides the really colourful teams so far, I don't see how this season can be on par with the earlier seasons of 1,3,5,7 and 14 (regarded by Phil, and many as some of the best seasons).

A great race to the finish in recent memory was the one with Natalie & Nadiya vs. Josh & Brent in TAR 21. The song they played during that really fit the editing and it was awesome.

I knew the Firefighters got eliminated from the Spoilers, but I didn't realise it was this soon.  Thought it would've been round Leg 5?  :'(

Also, EDITING THIS SEASON IS JUST  :res:  :groan:

There's been so many problems with it too though.

- Not showing Phil announcing team placements in Leg 2. (Minor, but makes a huge difference)
- Lack of a dramatic / exciting score.
- Not airing ALL the teams arriving at certain Clue Markers.  :groan:
- Not showing ALL the teams depart at the Pit Start. (Again Minor, but it's just something that should be there)
- Unequal balance of team airtime. E.g. Amy & Maya invisible on Legs 1 & 2, Dennis & Isabelle on Leg 1
- The total absence of the 4 Hour Penalty from Leg 1.
- Messing up team placements in Leg 2 at Tower Bridge IIRC?

It's just so frustrating when the problems are things they had down to a tee only a few seasons ago.  :'(

I dislike the part of not showing all the teams arriving at a route marker as well. One moment we saw Shelly and Nici going to the castle. Next moment they have already retrieved their clue (we don't even see it) and on the way to the Detour.

Didn't even see them retrieving the clue from the puffin!

Omg I knew that incident happened with Shelley/Nici and my eyes weren't wrong!

We also didn't see Brooke & Robbie at all until like after the castle :res:

It sucks that the editing is ruining such a great season [for me].

One of the few complaints I have about the episode is the Pit Stop arrival.

Why is "You are Team Number Two!" played only while the team is running to the Pit Stop then it cuts to Phil's interviews? Very awkward and weird editing.

I forgot to say that my favorite part was T&T almost getting the sheep in their pen until Tim or TeJay shouted in victory. :funny: :funny: :funny: Glad they survived. Imagine if they have the save instead, and that's their 1st bad leg. :stare

~The pit stop editing felt pretty weird. I din't hate or dislike it, but I think I'll get used to it.
~Not showing all the teams getting the clues made things confusing. I saw the Shelley & Nici comments, and I thought it was just me. :res:
~The unequal balance is a problem ever since back then. :res: If only they were 90-minute episodes. Just me wishing for the unlikely.
~That last one though. :res: I agree with that completely. "Dennis & Isabelle - Currently in 10th" was weird, but fine. The last 4 teams getting the clue at the London bridge though... :res: :groan: That one was completely messed up. :groan: :groan: :groan:

Alternate Episode Titles:
"We Got a Beast Over Here" - Misti
"I Told You These Things Were Sassy" - also from Misti

"Get Your Sheep Together" was good but it wasn't by a racer :(
