TAR 22 Ratings Thread
Theo:
I was wondering what makes the number of viewers of US television decrease like that? I still remember back when TAR 19 aired, it often hit 10 million viewers but it barely made to Top 20 ???

The overall viewing audience is shifting to three primary alternate viewing methods: (1) cable and satellite programs not seen on broadcast stations; (2) time shifted viewing off of DVRs that takes place after the night TAR airs -- this has to do with the end of each ratings week being on Sunday and thus missing any time shifted viewing after Sunday night; (3) alternate delivery methods such as I-Tunes, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and others including watching the episodes online at CBS.com.

At least we won the timeslot (pretty much) (is that a big deal?)

Yes and No. Yes it is always good that a show wins its timeslot, but TAR consistently wins its timeslot this season (except for the Oscars).

Yes, very good it's remaining #1. Bad news is that The Good Wife and The Mentalist are getting more viewers so that's a yellow signal. I watched The Good Wife for once last year, could not stand for another "mystery" episode of that confusing show.
