CBS placed first in viewers for the fourth straight week with seven of the top 10 scripted series led by NCIS, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 17, week 30 of the 2010-2011 television year.
CBS had seven of the top 10 scripted series, including the top three. The Network also had six of the top 20 programs (including ties) in adults 18-49.
For the week in viewers: CBS (9.23m), FOX (7.91m), ABC (7.84m) and NBC (5.17m). Season-to-date, CBS (11.82m) is first ahead of FOX (9.73m), ABC (8.31m) and NBC (7.19m).
For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and averaged a 2.0/06 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (3.9/10, tie with FOX) and second in adults 18-49 (3.0/08).
For the week in households: CBS (5.8/10), ABC (4.9/08), FOX (4.6/08) and NBC (3.3/05). Season-to-date, CBS (7.2/12) is first ahead of FOX (5.5/09), ABC (5.2/09) and NBC (4.5/07).

CBS won Sunday in viewers as THE AMAZING RACE won its time period in viewers and key demographics and the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" presentation of BEYOND THE BLACKBOARD placed first in viewers, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for April 24.
At 7:00 PM, 60 MINUTES SPECIAL (S) was first in households (6.4/13), viewers (10.32m) and adults 25-54 (2.4/08); it was second in adults 18-49 (1.6/06, -0.1 behind ABC).
THE AMAZING RACE 18 SPECIAL (S) from 8:00-9:00 PM was first in households (5.4/09), viewers (9.28m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07).
The "Hallmark Hall of Fame" presentation of BEYOND THE BLACKBOARD (S) was first in households (5.3/09) and viewers (8.50m).
For the night, CBS was first in households (5.6/10) and viewers (9.15m), tied for second in adults 25-54 (2.5/06, with NBC) and averaged a 1.7/05 in 18-49.

A rebroadcast of NCIS and a first-run HAWAII FIVE-0 were the week's top two scripted series in viewers, beating all programming on the competition except "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars'" performance and results programs.
HAWAII FIVE-0 posted its best households and viewers deliveries since November 2010 and its best demo performances since March 2011. On Friday, GIRLS' NIGHT OUT: THE SUPERSTAR WOMEN OF COUNTRY was the #1 program in households, viewers and adults 25-54.
For the week in viewers: CBS (8.48m), FOX (8.19m), ABC (7.73m) and NBC (4.86m). Season-to-date: CBS (11.75m) is ahead of FOX (9.70m), ABC (8.32m) and NBC (7.14m).

For the record, the fast nationals overnights aren't been posted. At least some west coast feed markets never got to air TAR last night due to breaking news reporting the death of Osama bin Laden in a US operation in Pakistan.
I plan to post whatever CBS releases tomorrow for the final weekly ratings, but there's no assurance that the numbers will reflect a full national audience. (I'm betting that some CBS stations may end up airing TAR at some point this week.)

TAR is 20th for the week in the final numbers, and that with a total audience of 9.2 million. That's a pretty clear indication that the size of the overall audience is shrinking further, as TAR won its time period.
