mswood:
Yep, first time we have scored a higher ratings in the key adults 18-49 demo (though again we have once actually had more viewers in that demo just not enough to show an increase in at least a tenth).

We were 14th for the week in adults 18-49, UB was 13th, Survivor was 15th.

And for the actually numbers that make up that demo.

UB 4.251 million viewers 18-49
TAR 4.222 million viewers 18-49
Both are equal to a 3.2 rating.

Survivor  4.061 million viewers 18-49

RATINGS NOTE:

As of this week (starting Monday, today) the measure of Final Numbers will be changing.

Previously Final numbers were Live viewers of that program (even if it started due to, for TAR, sports later in the night).

Then it turned into live same day viewers, meaning not only did live viewers count but also people who watched it on their DVR's or VHS up until 3am.

Starting today they are now added multiple viewers to those numbers.

For example, I watch TAR once off of Broadcast and then once more later that night,  Previously I counted as one viewer.  Starting today that would count as two viewers.  Of course I am not in that sample, but the example holds.

For most shows this will be a minor adjustment (and its should show a small increase), but for shows that have a dedicated (read insane) fan base and tend to rewatch a show and go over individual scenes it could give some shows a bit of a boost.

Unfortunately even though we are all insane, I don't think we represent the average viewer, so I am not expecting much increase.

I could see a larger percentage increase in shows like Supernatural, as an example to see more of a boost.  Its a show hows fans are insane (like Trekkies for the older generation).  For that Fan poll TV guide did, it managed to win out of the ten shows yet it had by far the smallest total audience (some shows like Castle have nearly 6 times as many viewers) yet its fan flooded the online voting.

Now I would love to see a jump for TAR (really love it), but I don't expect it.
