Clearly something affected the numbers this season, and perhaps it was the change in how audiences are counted as suggested a few weeks back. But the overnights still had TAR winning its two hours including giving the Donald another taste of his ego:
(Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

I have a question for the ratings experts.  This link over at Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Race_(U.S._TV_series)  shows this current season to be the lowest rated Sunday night Amazing Race.  Is that correct?   TYIA

Maybe people were visiting with their Mothers instead of watching TV.

Caelestor:
Yes, this is the lowest rated Sunday night season. This season has seen a 0.5-0.7 drop in the ratings for some reason, compared to the last. It could be the rapid aging of the Nielsen audience out of the 18-49 demographic, it could be the return of racers that turned off some viewers, who knows?

It'll remain on Sundays unless it dips below a 2.0, upon which it'll be shipped out to Fridays at 8.
