TAR All-Stars 2 Wish List

To make it fair if we're talking about teams after the first allstars I would pick

1. Kynt & Vyxsin (TAR12) (Awesome team in my opinion, just unlucky)
2. Ronald & Christina (TAR12)
3. Ken & Tina (TAR13) (Good team, deserves another chance)
4. Toni & Dallas (TAR13) (Very strong team, could of won TAR13 imo)
5. Margie & Luke (TAR 14) (Good team, love the mother/son side of TAR, could of won TAR14, just unlucky I guess)
6. Amanda & Kris (TAR 14) (Good team, picked because they got the UTURN, would make the race interesting)
7. Jaime & Cara (TAR 14) (I want an all female team to win TAR, they would stand a good chance)
8. Zev & Justin (TAR 15) (Speaks for itself, great team)
9. Jordan & Jeff (TAR 16) (They have potential)
10. Carol & Brandy (TAR 16) (I like this team)
11. Jet & Cord (TAR 16) (Awesomeness)

If there's a 12th team, reserved for *Winners*

12. TK & Rachel (TAR 12) Or Dan & Jordan (TAR 16) (I found these 2 teams the most likable of all the winners since TAR 11)

I like this team choice, all of them have made a huge impact in each race they've been in, all of them have personality and are decent racers. If anything if CBS picked these il'd be like OMG I wonder who will win. It'd be so hard to tell lol

These are my 13 favourite teams.

I am on record as not wanting to ever see an AllStars season again, but if there is one, then what you said is so close to the way I see it that there are only a few minor points of difference:

Ken was age 51 and Tina age 48 when they competed in Amazing Race 13. Was that too old to win? No way, but they are older!

I would pick Jon and Al over Kynt  and Vyxsin just because I think Jon and Al were robbed on what could have been final victory by some fog and ineptness by Korean Airlines. They deserve the chance to go all the way and would provide great entertainment throughout doing so.

I had thought that Ken & Tina were both in their forties when they raced.  Knowing they are older then I had assumed I would certainly use them as the token older team.

As for Jon and Al, I was very surprised they weren't really even considered for the first all stars.  I would love to see them or Ken & Gerard again.  Both far more then Kynt & Vyxzin.

I also would ideally prefer their not be an all stars.  But I am getting more and more curious as we have had no solid news on casting for a cycle 18.

But I stand by loving NEW teams of ordinary people...not recruited, just wonderful applicants. There are thousands of them, we know it is possible. Look at the joy of season one.

I really wouldn't call Brad & Victoria or Zev and Justin robbed as their own errors caused their eliminations.

But one of the pluses for a Season of Early outs is that in many cases we never really got to see a lot of these teams.  The problem with this is (besides of course events outside your own control) it's really difficult to judge how well teams that went out early actually race.  As most of the racers who had completed or nearly completed the race will attest that the further along you get the harder the race is as you are suffering from fatigue, hunger, more stress, ect.

I believe there will be another all stars to feed the hunger of all diehard fans? Survivor couldn't resist and did many allstars or half or part allstars season. I know the prouducers of TAR said Allstars was a bad idea.. but i think if they are to do it again, there will be much more careful planning and selection of teams.

And oh i forgot all about Kynt and Vyxsin.. definitely a memorable team. And it would be good to get some of the family edition teams to race as a team of two. Mama Paolo and Papa Paolo will be fun to watch, i believe.. except that they probably will have no chance of winning if they are up against the all-stars.

Hence my stand is that the teams chosen have to be BOTH MEMORABLE and COMPETITIVE. Very competitive in fact. The reason why the first allstar wasn't even that exciting because some of the teams chosen were not even competitive at all. (Teri and Ian, Charla and Mirna wants to be.. but they're not, Danielle, Mary and David, Kevin and Drew..)

And up till now only a few teams fit the criteria and i agree with mswood, you need to have token alpha male teams in the race, but only TWO.
