The girls are doing so well.
One of 'em looks at Mark/Mike, "Oh, that sucks."
Mark/Mike head in the other direction to construct shutters.

Like they speak a lot of English in the middle of Siberia?
Cabs stop.

Mike/Mark almost get devoured by a Siberian Husky. They look and go the other way, smartly.
They don't see any sign that says "Repair needed" so theyr'e confused about the CLUE.
Kisha/Jen are nice and tall so they can see the top of the stack.
Christie/Jodi right there with em.

Kisha/Jen, CLUE: Make your way to the Museum of the Somethingorother.
CAUTION! U-TURN AHEAD!
Phil: Teams can use the U-Turn to slow another team, forcing them to backtrack and do both Detours. Previously they had to post their pic. Now they can remain anonymous.

Kisha/Jen, decide not to U-Turn anyone. CLUE: Bobrovy Log Park, search for the next CLUE.
Christie/Jodi agree not to UTurn anyone either.

The other 5 teams in the rear are basically tied as they choose DETOURS.
Love the music and the fires! I really want to visit Siberia, but while I'm still young enough to stand the cold ...

Back to the PBP.
Kisha/Jen, ROADBLOCK.
Phil: One team member rides a track on a bobsled course, must finish in under 4 minutes and look for 7 letters along the way. When done, they have to unscramble the letters to spell CHEKHOV, a famous Russsian playwright.

Mark/Michael start asking the locals whose house needs to be repaired. THey're kinda clueless as they wander through Siberia on foot.
And it's gray.
And it's wet.
And it's cold.

Christie/Jodi have the seven letters, but the time??? She made it 4:00 exactly, which will do. She wrote all 4 letters.
They begin the unscramble task.
But they have no freakin' idea who the playwright could be.
Oh, well, so much for edumacation in the States.

Most of the remaining teams are doing the wood stack.
Mike/Mel's stack tumbles down.
Jaime/Kara lose part of theirs.
Amanda/Kris lose about half of theirs.

Back to the PBP ... lots of wood goes crashing down.
Tammy/Vic seem to be okay though.
The other teams wonder whether they should reconsider their DETOUR choice.
Mike/Mel change DETOURS.
Jaime/Cara just stay where they are.
Mike/Mel, meanwhile, are still very lost. They decide to build the shutter first (which is what the clue says) and then try to figure out where to install it.
But ... on the funny ... they can't build it correctly!!

Kisha returns with the other letters.
It's a race now, between a team that has no clue and a team that thinks they know who they're looking for.

Tammy/Vic finish stack, in 3rd.

Margie/Luke leave get their CLUE in 3rd. They U-Turn the next team leaving their Amanda/Kris who actually just left seconds behind them.
They have to do both now.
Tammy/Vic aren't going to U-Turn anyone.

Kisha/Jen quickly get CHEKHOV and the CLUE.
Christie's still working.
Kisha/Jen, CLUE: Travel by taxi to the next pitstop.
Phil: Theatre of musical comedy. Last team to check in may be eliminated.

Amanda/Kris arrive at the other DETOUR, courtesy of the U-Turn.

Kisha/Jen arrive. THey look for the entrance.

Vic gets CHEKHOV quickly. They leave for the pitstop in 3rd.
They wish Margie well as she roots for Luke. Luke finishes in 3:58.
Now he has to do the Unscramble.
CONF, Margie, translating: I've never had any literature class. I had no idea who he was.
Literally, Luke takes the letters and randomly stacks them for a try at the translation.

Mel/Mark and Mike/Mark are close to being done with the construction. Now to the install.
Jaime/Cara have 5 pieces left to stack.
Luke has like, no idea.
Margie: Don't give up!

Jaime/Cara leave wood stack in 5th.

Three teams, M/M, M/M and Kris/Amanda, carry shutters through the wet, cold, gray streets of Krasnoyarsk.
Mike conf: The last 3 teams were like a caravan of idiots.
Margie: He's so frustrated. I want to help him but I can't.
Luke tosses the letters on the ground.
