Joab, I am not disputing your indentification of the terraced fields (rice patties) as in China. I do have a question. Isn't that technique used quite extensively in Indonesia also?
Well as I said, I wasn't disputing his identification. Also I should have said that my question wasn't TAR related. Since Joab is in Singapore, it was an honest question on farming techniques in Indonesia. I never meant to imply the question was TAR related.
Well the most anticipated thread of the season turned into the biggest disappointment of the season ..what a bust !! bastards
39 & 40 - possibly Bavaria? (Somebody please prove me wrong here)

puddin, that could be it. Or it could be on the Li River near Guilin China. I was on a small boat trip a little south of Guilin between Yangshuo and Xingping 16 years ago. I have some some current photos of boats on the Li River. Some are easily the size you indicated. My efforts to paste them here have not been successful, but if someone can give me a refresher in how to do that (I tried using IMG but not necessarily the right way) I can then post these 2 photos

I used to know but it's been a long time. The thing I forgot was use of the Additional Options box to replace the method which wasn't working for me.
