I am confused, no doubt due to my unfamiliarity with "new English". Ken and puddin, the word "buff" can mean any of the following:
Buff (color)
Buff (computer gaming), a temporary beneficial effect in some games
Buff (headgear)
Buff (superheroine), a Marvel Comics character
BUFF (Malmö Film Festival)
Buffing, the process of smoothing and polishing metals and alloys
Buff coat, a type of military clothing
Buff Bagwell, a professional wrestler
British Urban Film Festival
B-52 Stratofortress, a military aircraft
"In the buff," a phrase referring to nudity
"You look buff," a term of endearment complimenting a person who is perceived as 'attractive', usually by their appearance
The only one that reigsters with me is buff teh color. Which use of the word buff did you(plural) mean?
