Minato Station

Tempozan is one of the more attractive and popular waterside areas of Osaka, and this park occupies a small corner of the district. It is a quiet, relaxing place in an otherwise bustling area, but is also somewhat nondescript. It does, however, have some history. In 1831, a four-and-a-half-meter man-made mound was created in the shape of a mountain after a nearby river was dredged. 'Tempo' was the name of the era in which it was constructed, while 'zan' indicates 'mountain', hence the name of the area. All that remains now is a small plaque and old artistic renderings of the hill.

Chris marvels at the fact that Ron is keeping his temper.
Nate: Stop being so negative, please!
Don has to score a goal of his own. Nic is giving him pointers.

CLUE: Travel by taxi to the next pitstop.
Don conf: Nic is an intelligent, headstrong guy. I don't think I could have done this challenge without him.

Chris marvels at the driver, who doesn't know how to get to Temposzan park.
Driver gets directions.

Woman: Welcome to Osaka, Japan.
Phil: Ron/Chris, you're team #1.
Both: WHOOOO!!!!!
Phil: Good news, you've each won an electric vehicle which seats 4, perfect for getting around town.
Chris: He did not lose his temper once this leg! I had such a blast today!

TK/Rachel find the castle closed.
Rachel conf: It's obvious that we're last. Things are closed. It's desolate.
TK conf: I didn't come to the Race to have a miserable time. We've already been on 9 legs of the Race.
Rachel conf: Before TK, I had a lot of negativity about me. He was like a beam of light, to save me.
TK conf: We concentrate on being ourselves. The fact that we're still together, strong, proves that we were meant to be.
They finish the flower challenge.
TK conf: I couldn't be happier than to be with Rachel.

Woman: Welcome to Osaka, Japan.
Phil: TK/Rachel, you're the last team to arrive. (Long silence.) Good news is, this is a non-elimination leg, and you're still in the Race. But you're nearly 3 hours behind the other teams, and in the next leg, you'll encounter a Speed Bump.
TK conf: Knowing that we're on the chopping block, we'll try our damndest to catch up and beat 'em.

Wow. This was a truly entertaining episode, but I had a small feeling that they're doing all of the tasks and they may not be eliminated. The producers would have given them a mercy clue somewhere along the route if they were to be eliminated. Plus, the greeter was there. That's a clue in itself.

YAAYYY!!!! Ron & Christina came in first this leg, thanks to Nathan & Jennifer having a hard time finding a taxi cab driver!

As for Nate & Jennifer ... oh dear. They may not be as bad as Jonathan & Victoria, but they're almost as bad as Tara & Wil. They. Drive. Me. Up. A. Wall!!!

Wow! T.K. & Rachel really made a bad move with the planes! It's not always about which flight leaves first, it's about which flight arrives first, and they sure found out the hard way. And with them being three hours behind and having a Speed Bump in the next leg, this could be curtains for them! I don't want it to be, but if it's a choice between them going out and Ron & Christina, I'll take T.K. & Rachel.
