I think that if Michael says anything inappropriate from 800pm until 1000pm, then you should implement that ban. Banning him now is not necessary since he promised to be good.

It's halftime at 556pm for the Chargers/Titans game on CBS. This game could easily finish by 730pm on time and not
delay the East Coast start of AR12.

San Diego 17 Tenn. 6. Game over at 735pm. There's 8 minutes of commercials(isn't this illegal?) and baloney but not any after-game show here in the East.
60 Minutes starts at 743 pm, so AR12 at 843 pm.

PREVIOUSLY ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:
Phil: Five teams left Florence, Italy, and flew to Mumbai, India. TK/Rachel's steady attitude kept them in the front of the pack, but others were stretched to the breaking point. Ron reverted to his old ways (yelling at Christina). At the U-Turn, Kynt/Vyxsin made a huge miscalculation, U-Turning Nic/Don, which set up a showdown with Nate/Jenn. In the end, TK/Rachel came in first, and the dating Goths were eliminated.
Four teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

TK/R go to a travel agent with internet connection.
Don "wanted to go to Japan" while he was in the service.
Ron/Christina, 1:44 pm, heading to find a taxi.
Ron is already pissed. Looking for a taxi is too stressful for him.
Ron: I'm on a journey of change. I don't want to falter.
Ron's taxi drops him and Chris at a ticket agency.
Nate/Jenn, 2:38 pm.
Jenn: Osaka, Japan, yay! We only have American dollars, though ...
Nate conf: We haven't finished first yet, and we really want to.
TK/Rachel seem to be finally getting tickets.
Nic/Don, elsewhere, are getting tickets also.
Man gives TK/Rachel a 6:55 pm departure out of Mumbai.
TK: I think we're doing all right.
Ron/Chris get an 8:something PM flight through Hong Kong.
Nic/Don get 8:something departure, same (apparently) as Ron/Chris.
Ron: Not "Direct," but NON-STOP. Make sure it's NON-STOP.
TK/R getting ready to board.
Ron/Chris taxi to the airport, but find "no entry."
Ron is pissed that his taxi driver dropped them where there was "no entry."
Ron conf: I'm an old fart who rides on emotion.
Chris: DAD! If you keep complaining ...
Ron: I'm not complaining.
Chris: YES, YOU ARE!!
Nic/Don are at the airport, and see Nate/Jenn.
TK/Rachel run down an airway, apparently looking to depart.
They run onto the tarmac.
Plane takes off.
Phil: TK/Rachel are now traveling via New Delhi and Beijing. The other three teams connect through only one city, Hong Kong.
TK conf: We don't know where the other teams are, so we could be dead last. Just never know.

TK/Rachel finally get on their final leg of flight.
They're worried where the other 3 teams may be.
Osaka.
At the airport, 2:30 pm, first to arrive: Nate/Jenn. Ron/Chris. Nic/Don.
Don conf: Nic is quite strong. He carries my bag. He's like a bitch for me, it's quite perfect.
(Surely I must have misheard that line ... )
Teams get into their cabs.
Chris speaks Japanese to the cabbie.
Chris conf, how Nic/Don think they can beat Ron/Chris "but they don't know."
Teams begin to speculate where TK/Rachel may be.
Nic/Don think they're ahead of TK/Rachel, as do Ron/Chris.
Don: Anything's possible on the Race.
First to the castle, Nate/Jenn. CLUE: Travel by taxi to JR Kenjesin Noda Station.
Phil: They'll search for the station's cleaning man, who'll give them the next clue.
Ron/Chris arrive, Nate/Jenn leave before R/C find the cluebox.
Nic, in cab: I wonder if Chris and Ron speak Japanese.
Don: Yeah ... (petty convo ...) Competition gets tougher.
Nic/Don third arriving at the castle.
Ron/Chris beat them to the cluebox, and return to their cab.
Nic/Don, close behind, get their clue.
Don looks exhausted.
Ron and Chris note that their driver is "just relying on the GPS" to get around the confusing streets.
At the station, Nate/Jenn, CLUE: ROADBLOCK.
Who's the back seat driver?
Jenn: Oh, no. I am.
CLUE: BECOME A TAXI DRIVER.
Phil: They'll find out firsthand what it's like to navigate the congested streets of Osaka. They'll have to put on cabbie uniform, and transport a Japanese couple to an address to receive a clue. The couple may not help them. (Not locals helping, either.) The drivers have to make their way back to their teammate before reading the next clue.

One small problem: She barely drives.
She gets in her cab, and tries to start the vehicle with steering wheel on the wrong side.
Jenn tries to find someone on the street who speaks English.
Woman: It takes 10 minutes by car.
Chris begins driving.
Jenn: I'm driving on the right side of the car, and everything's in Japanese!
Nic will drive.

Jenn, lost: Oh! How did this happen!
Chris: God, I hope I don't become Austin Powers ... I don't think Japanese helps. Driving skills help more.
Nic turns on the a/c to "keep the customers happy."
Jenn stops and asks directions. It's right across the street, but she has to turn about.
Chris stands outside her cab to look-see how to drive to where she's going.
Nic discovers he has to "go all the way back around."
Jenn: YES! I found it! I'm so excited! (She gets the clue, and tries to find her way back to Nate.)
Second clue goes to Chris, who'll now try to find her way back to Ron.
There's a huge "POST OFFICE" sign atop a building (in English), but Nic had trouble finding it.
Nic gets his clue in 3rd.
Jenn arrives, but is on the wrong side of the road.
Chris yells "Daddy!"
Neither Chris nor Jenn can figure out how to get over to the other side.
Finally ... Jenn, first. Travel by taxi to Kita-Mido Temple.
Phil: 16th century Buddhist Temple, next clue.
Jenn: Nobody here speaks English. At all!!
Jenn, motioning to taxi driver: We're in a ... lookit!! .... a .... RACE! (waving her arms in running motion)
Chris, 2nd, and she/Ron get back in their cab.
Nic, lost.
Nic: Easier to land a plane, than to drive in Osaka.
Don conf, at the station: I know other teams are ahead of us. I'm just waiting for Nic to come in. This could really cost us.

Meanwhile, TK/Rachel arrive at Osaka International.
They quickly get into a taxi.
TK conf: We're back into the Race, whether we're behind, or ahead.
Nic gets more directions from workers on the streets.
Jenn explains in the cab, how confusing everything was.
Nate: I'm sorry. I can't pay attention right now due to all the stress.
Jenn: Huh?
Nate: You know what I'm saying.
Jenn: NO. I Don't.
Jenn sees Kita-Mido, and they quickly get out of the cab.
DETOUR. Sense of touch, or sense of smell?
Phil: Touch, teams make their way on foot to the Shimajima building, use miniature robots controlled by cellphones, to score a goal against robotic defenders. Must score a goal for the next clue. Could become frustrating. Teams without a delicate sense of touch, could kick themselves instead of goals.
Smell, go to a location where artificial flowers are sold. Find the one real flower, using only your nose. The task might seem impossible among thousands of flowers, but only real flowers have a scent. Could quickly sniff out a winner.

Ron/Chris still asking for directions. Finally, they arrive at the flower shop.

Chris sees that Nate/Jenn have done the 1st floor already, so Ron/Chris choose to try the 2nd floor.
Nic conf: I don't want to let myself or my grandfather down.
Nic/Don will do the robot/soccer thingy.

They try to control the robots using cell phone keys.
Nic's guy falls down trying to kick.

TK conf: We have no idea if we're a half-day behind, or out in front. We haven't seen another team since the pitstop.
Nate/Jenn abandon the 1st floor, adn go upstairs.
Jenn: This is a mistake. We should have done the other one.

Minato Station
Tempozan is one of the more attractive and popular waterside areas of Osaka, and this park occupies a small corner of the district. It is a quiet, relaxing place in an otherwise bustling area, but is also somewhat nondescript. It does, however, have some history. In 1831, a four-and-a-half-meter man-made mound was created in the shape of a mountain after a nearby river was dredged. 'Tempo' was the name of the era in which it was constructed, while 'zan' indicates 'mountain', hence the name of the area. All that remains now is a small plaque and old artistic renderings of the hill.

Rachel conf: Before TK, I had a lot of negativity about me. He was like a beam of light, to save me.
TK conf: We concentrate on being ourselves. The fact that we're still together, strong, proves that we were meant to be.
They finish the flower challenge.
TK conf: I couldn't be happier than to be with Rachel.
Woman: Welcome to Osaka, Japan.
Phil: TK/Rachel, you're the last team to arrive. (Long silence.) Good news is, this is a non-elimination leg, and you're still in the Race. But you're nearly 3 hours behind the other teams, and in the next leg, you'll encounter a Speed Bump.
TK conf: Knowing that we're on the chopping block, we'll try our damndest to catch up and beat 'em.

Wow. This was a truly entertaining episode, but I had a small feeling that they're doing all of the tasks and they may not be eliminated. The producers would have given them a mercy clue somewhere along the route if they were to be eliminated. Plus, the greeter was there. That's a clue in itself.

As for Nate & Jennifer ... oh dear. They may not be as bad as Jonathan & Victoria, but they're almost as bad as Tara & Wil. They. Drive. Me. Up. A. Wall!!! :pull
Wow! T.K. & Rachel really made a bad move with the planes! It's not always about which flight leaves first, it's about which flight arrives first, and they sure found out the hard way. And with them being three hours behind and having a Speed Bump in the next leg, this could be curtains for them! I don't want it to be, but if it's a choice between them going out and Ron & Christina, I'll take T.K. & Rachel.

While TKR are 3 hours behind (thanks Phil), there are some major differences in lighting between teams (kinda like the HK leg last time). Granted, the flights to Taiwan may or may not bunch them up, but still, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a nonstandard pit stop length to accomodate TKR's delay.

Depends. He did say that the tattoo parlor was the only FF on the race, which contradicts the Lithuania insider videos. Maybe he meant the only FF shown or taken. :lol:

Agree about the FF--but it wasn't a lie per se I was worried about. Does anyone remember another time where he told a team exactly how far behind they were on the mat? Just struck me as strange...

I'm thinking TAR8, we saw the Fast Forward in the racers hands in Panama? and we know it wasn't used thanks to racer interviews, then the next leg there was another Fast Forward, taken by the Paolo's, and when Phil described it I'm pretty sure he said the same, something about it being the only Fast Forward.
