You know, I wonder what the people who got picked to be on BB think of the commercials. I mean they have to know going in there that some secret thing is up, right?

Maybe its just me crazy thinking at 3 in the morning. Im wide awake, have a doctors appointment tomorrow and im hoping that they do an ultrasound. Although doctor wants to wait til 20 weeks. Im getting impatient.  :lol3:

Most likely the 14 houseguests have been sequestered as of right now, so I've doubt they've seen commercials regarding the twist.  I may be wrong, but usually they pump up the BB commercials or promote the twist after the HGs are sequestered.

Anyways, the High School Bullies speculation wasn't completely wrong.  That falls into the enemies category.  Maybe one  duo of enemies was a high school bully and the person he/she picked on?  Guess we'll never know.

So if it ends in late April, then Big Brother will last about 10-11 weeks.  Sounds right for a group of 14 strangers.

Forum: BB9 Casting Twist?

King writes:

"After reading the Transgender rumor on the main BBQ page and seeing the last Ad that was released that stated this season will have "More secrets than you can count!" I've come to the conclusion that this season's casting twist maybe that all 14 people have secrets to reveal to America as well as the rest of the house in a similar fashion to Frances "Secret Story" which in itself is a licensed under the Endemol "Big Brother" brand. See the "Secret Story" wiki page for more information on the format. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_Story_(TV_series)

Basically it would work like this: Everyone would be told that they all have secrets to hide from each other and they would be given a list of the secrets. When someone has a guess they would go to the DR and enter an official guess if the guess is correct they would win a designated prize or cash award. If the guess if wrong the prize would drop by half and if the second attempt is wrong as well they would no longer be eligible for that specific persons prize money."

Big Brother 9 Still Casting? (Auditions in Peoria)

Last year Zack, Jen, and I think Mike were found closer to the premiere date. Will you be the next Jen?

"Interested individuals need only show up with an application and a desire to be on a reality TV show. Applicants will film two-minute videos at the casting call.

A location for "Survivor 17" hasn't been released, but Tom Beisel, director of marketing and operations at WMBD-TV, which will host the event, said he thinks 90 percent of people who show up to the casting call will apply for "Survivor" and just 10 percent will be interested in "Big Brother 9."

Maybe they started casting in Peoria for Big Brother 10.  We got conformation from Robyn Kass (sp?) a few weeks ago saying that they already picked the 14 HGs, and they already know they're moving into the house too.

Less then 3 weeks now to.

Didn't last years HGs have their final "interview" in May last year???? So that was 2 months before being on the show. I guess if they start now for BB10 it makes sense.

I know what you mean. Its still all weird to me for Big Brother in the winter, though for people in Cali and warm places I guess its not a big shock

Hmmm, so how are they gonna do the secrets thing, the HGs won't be in sequester (didn't think they were this early though).

I know people that live in Peoria

Disregard the above....just found out it was a typo from the person on myspace that posted it...the casting call is actually for both BB10 and Survivor 17. Here's the link...

http://www.pjstar.com/stories/012308/TRI_BFIR8MG5.006.php

So I think it's almost safe to say the BB9 cast is set and I thought that was cutting too close to be holding another casting call and the new cast should be arriving in LA soon to be sequestered and prepped for the BB9 season.

So this means we definitely have a BB10 coming our way this year!  And the rumor about Survivor being cancelled after this Micronesia season is fake too!  Oh thank god!

And there may be a TAR in between those next two TheCinera. Im not a fan of Survivor - couldn't even tell ya when it was on, but I wonder how soon after this next one the next season would start.

BB9 ends in April, it is possible TAR13 starts and then ends right before BB10. Someone said they like their sunday spot so I don't think it would be going on while Big Brother was!!!

:wohoo: Let the new season(s) begin!
