In my opinion, the last few days have seen a fe new posters who seem less interested in discussing the game and the player, but rather seem intent on provoking arguments, on attacking other posters and just basically being rude to the others who visit this site.

Such behavior is totally uncalled for and should not be tolerated...it is not entertainment...they should be banned.

Eric & Jess were talking about if its one of those on the spot type nominations and they both are thinking Amber. ERic says that  DaniAmber & Zach would be another option amd they can say that she is paired with Dick and that is a reason to put her up because they both have security with each other.

Hey everybody,

I was just about to post yesterday when the Jen/Dick/cigerette fiasco thing was being discussed when BAM! the site was gone.  So I am just now getting back.  First of all I wanted to say that I am so F-R-U-S-T-R-A-T-E-D for Jen, for the way she is being treated, that I have to stop watching (and reading) because it is putting me in a bad mood!!

I know that Jen's eating was against the rules but when I look at it from her point of view - somone who has had her clothes possibly ruined with mustard and tea poured on her head - I can see how she would feel completely betrayed by BB (the only entity who should be impartial) for telling her it would be ok for her to do something with Dick's cigs then giving them back to him.  I mean to me tea on the head = bleach on the cigs, its a wash.  It was just as wrong for BB to give Dickhead his cigs back as it is for Jen to eat.  There is a reason why everyone jokes about curling up with Ben and Jerry when they are dissapointed because for a lot of women - especially women who have a hard time with expressing themselves - food is comfort and a friend when one is in need.

As for her slapping at the cig - I saw the scene and she reacted - it is easy to judge her when you aren't in her place.  He was completely in the wrong (as he is almost every second of the day) and she reacted to a situation.  People say they wish she would have some balls and stand up to him - well she did and he actually tried to get physicall with her by burning her.

The other thing I wanted to say is that I found the following information on another site.  It makes sense.  Now I am just wondering if AP is just a front for BB to do anything they want with the HG.  How do I know that the votes were really for Dustin to be evicted.  Maybe CBS has someone on a computer voting 27/7 the way they want them to....?  I hate to think watching BB is like being duped into thinking pro wrestling is the real thing!

I'd like to say I am done with BB this year (but I will probably still read the updaters 'cause it is so addicting).  If I am able to break away then I want to say that it has been a pleasure posting on this site because I have really felt like people respect each other even when differing in opinions.  This is a good group of caring people.  Bless you.

First off I'd like to thank everyone for the updates and work put into the board.

I felt the need to post because of Alaska's post. I am not an ED fan or Jenn fan. I actually think Jessica is playing the smartest "game". But to say that ruining someones property (the cigs) is the same as hiding them is stretching it. BB told Jenn that she could, and she did. They didn't tell her that they would replace them though. Jenn even said earlier in the game that it is not lying if you don't tell everything you know. BB just didn't tell her that they would replace them.

Now, going on to another item you posted. You said that ED was completely in the wrong for the slapping cig episode. I disagree. He provoked her yes, but she could have just walked away instead of hitting him. Watch the video again, she was the one who physically touched him. Was he wrong in pinching the cig so that it could be used to burn her? Probably. But he wasn't completely in the wrong.

This game is set up for emotions. It is a social expierment. There is really no physical challenge to it (like survivor for example) but more geared for strategy. Dick's strategy is to get people off there "game" by being in your face, intimidation, and making you lose your cool. I can respect that because that is how is has been from the start. Jenn's strategy has been one of "not caring" about the money, trying to go with the flow, and keeping her cool. She did that well for the most part. She saw that she was in the corner and was backdoored and figured she was without doubt the target. She read the rule book, saw the penalty veto and figured that was her only chance. You have to give her respect for trying every angle. To blame it all on ED is showing your personal feelings for Jenn, and your dislike for ED.

Just my opinion of course

BTW I wouldn't mind seeing ED use his tactics on his daughter after the blowup last night. I have no respect for her, just really tied of the whinnnnnne and poor meeeeeee act. We get it, we all doooooon't knoooooooow.

I noticed that this morning too, do I have issue with it yes; however, it was 12 years ago, he was 32, and well people change in 12 years.  I know I'm not the same person I was 12 years ago.  It doesn't make what he did right, but I am a firm believer in second chances and people change.  I think the fact that he has shown a major temper in the house yet not acted on it other than verbally proves he must have changed to some degree.

I am not defending his behavior I'm just simply saying people change, and no one is perfect.

The cig thing may have been a hint at him acting on his anger - but you are right Lord know I too have changed a lot in the last 12 years.  My point though is that if BB knew he was capable of beating women they never should have cast him.

Alongiv - thanks for the post.  Do you think she actually tried to hit him or just reacted to the smoke by trying to swat the cig away? 

Anyway - I DO have personal feelings for Jen and I DO dislike Dickhead tremendously!!! That's why I HAVE to quit letting this get to me 

Personally, I think Jen should take ALL of the mustard out of the SR and pour it over ALL of Dickhead's clothes and cigerettes before she leaves.  Anyone want to go in on a plane message with me to tell her to do this???

Im not judgeing Dick on the past. I do feel that his anger and words in the house are who he is, and BB should have stopped him long ago. They obviously have not kept track of his warnings or I really do feel that he would be out. But they are keeping up with the ratings and money is life especially for companies like CBS

And honestly from what I said above about Dicks past im just asking a curious question. On the BB application  they ask if you have been arrested, they ask about your record I believe. Whats that for exactly. And while I also agree that a person can change in 12 years his anger is still obviously an issue. His daughter is whiney and I would rather have air horns stuck to my ear all day then listen to her whine BUT she gets the fear look on her face everytime he goes on a rampage. And in 95 when he was arrested of spousal abuse she was 9??? No wonder what she meant about things in the past still bothering her. My ex abused me and it still haunts me, I can't imagine having to see my dad do things like that.

My ex boyfriend stabbed me and almost killed me had it not been for one of my dogs grabbing him and me getting away. So obviously im a loser who takes abuse serious I guess *shrug*. Im done now.

The thing with Dick is he is the most popular one on the show... he has had more posts than anyone on the BB8 page and BB8 is more into ratings than remembering their warnings... as Dick would say Period, end of story!  LOL

Alongiv, you jogged my memory of that event. I was watching the feeds when it happened. My view was from the side so I did not see the view from the video that was shown, but I thought he was sitting on the left end of the couch, as we see it, but I do distinctly recall that he said several times, "Don't touch me! Don't touch me!"

I should watch the video again, I thought it showed him more towards the middle of the couch. I could be mistaken, but if the video shows him in the middle of the couch then it wasn't what I viewed. I do know it happened really fast and I rewound several times to see just what happened.
