VR /Interactive links are appreciated too! I'm really happy to be the librarian here but would like this to be a team effort--so please--send lots! Thanks everybody!

KAZAKHSTAN Film Date: Air Date: 11/16/08 Quick FactsKazakhstan AlmatyInteractive Street Map of Almaty: http://expat.nursat.kz/?1530 Downtown Map of Almaty in English! Thanks sunny!Quote from Sunnyca! Most of the action seems to take place on the left (western) side of this map. The building that Boingo identifed seems to be the Oblast Akimat Building in the Old Square on Tolebi St whereas the former Parliament building aka Akimat House is on Republic square on Satpaev St. Here's another good map http://kazakhstan.orexca.com/img/map_almaty1.jpgthumbnail-click-click (unfortunately upside down from the last one, ie S up!) with the buildings marked. In this map the mosque is now on the top left corner, with the Green Bazar and cathedral below it, continuing into Dostyk Ave where the restaurant Alasha is (also ID ed by Biongo, off the map where it crosses the river, link here http://www.alasha.kz ). Panorama of the restaurant According to the map on the Alasha site, http://www.alasha.kz/index.php?opt=contact it's at the corner of Ospanov and Dostyk, right before where Dostyk crosses the river. On this map (mostly in Russian http://infokz.com/city/eng/empall.htm) you can see Dostyk Av (in Russian looks like AOcTblk!) crossing the river at the top right side, with a street leading off it, which might be Ospanov (not marked). Downtown is to the left with the Cathedral, Green Bazar and park at the left end of Dostyk. Almaty City: Sunny again! Interactive Almaty, street names and building numbers, POIs, it's all here: and it's all in Russian. Thanks Slowhatch!Satellite viewsBoingo's MAP of task locations: Chickens:If it helps with the searches, the rough address of the chicken farm is: Первомайская Промзона (1st of May Street?)Илийский район (Iliiskii district) It's bringing up other businesses in the vicinity, but no location yet... I was looking for chickens and I got Migs
Maybe I can help (a little) with both. This page describes the Alel location as Almaty region, Iliiskii district, Pervomaiskaya Promzona, Almaty ptitsefabrika . I found this company that claims an airport in the same district. The wikimap is here. There's an industrial area north of the airport that has possibilites; if someone could find Pervomaiskaya village that would help in finding the battery farm ("ptitsefabrika"). Nvm, it's here. Now to look for chickens... Falcons:This page states the Sunkar falcon farm is in the Alma-Arasan gorge south of the city; after doing a little translating ("Kennel hunting birds and dogs"), I'll make a guess and say it's here. Sunkar" falcon farm excursion tour to the farm of hunting birds and dogs, located at the foothills of Zailiyskiy Alatau. Green Bazaar: thanks to sunny!http://infokz.com/city/eng/walk_greenbazar.phpCow walking: from Boingo! Here's something that can go in the Final City info: Anthony Bourdain went to the Pacific Northwest years ago to do a show; almost half of that show was Portland OR. Most of what he presented on the show was of no interest to the episode 11 finale, but one item struck me as something the AR13 tasks in Portland could have included. This is Underground Portland, which was shown in Bourdain's video as a series of tunnels under Portland leading to the waterfront from which individuals who were Shaghai'ed could be secretly sent on board ships. Here is the list of what is included in teh Walking Tour of Underground Portland: The last remains of the hundreds of cast-iron buildings that once graced this city until they were ripped out to build a highway. Locations of the Simpsons-Portland connections, including the polluted river where the Simpsons TV show originated Blinky the Three-Eyed Fish A 24 hour doughnut shop and wedding chapel A journey into the bowels of the city to view entrances that once led to the legendary “Shanghai Tunnels” and understand the facts from below the floorboards of neighborhood landmark Old Town Pizza Obscure shops selling Chinese medicines and herbs that even today face hassles from the government and from skeptics The site of a famous riot instigator called the "the most arrested man in the Northwest" Storied sites and buildings, once host to illicit deals and doings, that survived countless floods and remain today as some of our treasured restaurants, clubs, bars and office spaces The somber monuments and plaza remembering local and nationwide efforts to isolate and evict more than 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II The link is PortlandUndergroundTours

Peach, here's some information on Mt. Maunganui, which is a grand 250 meters high:
Mt Maunganui Beach settlement, part of Tauranga city, on the sandy expanse between Tauranga Harbour and the Pacific Ocean. It was named after the mountain (252 m) at the harbour entrance.
This may have been the site for AR13 teams to do tasks on May 2. It is about 125 miles from Auckland, so it would involve a lot of road travel to get there and back, probably at least 5 hours round-trip.

Peach, another possibility for where AR13 teams were on May 2 is Mangere Mountain, near Auckland International Airport:
On Mangere Mountain, just minutes from Auckland International Airport, you can see the remains of what was once an extremely large eighteenth century Maori fortified settlement, or pa. Low stone walls radiate out from the base of the mountain, the remnants of the major Maori land boundaries that once divided the landscape into large pie-shaped pieces.
These boundaries marked out gardens, houses and other living areas. There are scores of house and garden terraces, walled garden mounds, stone boundary walls and kumara storage pits around the crater.
A series of cast iron and basalt sculptures placed around the mountain show what life was like there, including what foods were eaten and how they were cultivated, caught and stored. A one hour 'land marker' walk follows the sculptures (see the self-guided walk brochures below).
Four large paintings by local artist Chris Gaskin, which are sited near the education centre at the base of Mangere Mountain, also depict life there, from the time of the last eruption 40,000 years ago, through 500 years of continuous Maori settlement, to the pastoral farms of European settlers.
