Angie & Danny at the bridge and turning and we get the behind-the-scenes info of their camera and sound crew. Danny states it's imperative for them to keep their crew right behind them. They communicate with them through a two-way radio. They approach a roundabout.

And they are getting honked at by locals while spinning 'round and 'round. Just as they make their exchange, they lose their crew. "I just don't see their van anymore." - Angie. Danny reports back to their crew with radio silence.

We come back to a potential time credit (for those of you here since the beginning of the series

) as Angie & Danny are trying to survive with their crew. "We have no crew right now." Danny wants to catch them at the next place.

Meanwhile, Ricky & Cesar arrive at the bay. DETOUR: Seaweed Clearing or Fish Pot Building
In Fish Pot Building, teams must build a fishnet with tamarind root framing and wire to receive their next clue. In Seaweed Clearing, teams must clear a blue barrel full of seaweed along the beach to receive their next clue.

They want to do the seaweed, but immediately decide against it to do the fish pot since running on sand is not going to be efficient. "We're the first ones here, we were able to pick the closest one to the example." - Cesar. They say their beach-inspired clothing is so fitting today. Yvonne & Mel still driving while Amber & Vinny see the water. "He's extra slow. He's on that island time." - Vinny with a local walking across the street.

Juan believes he is going to Long Beach. Rod & Leticia don't know if they are going north or south.

Are they gonna get a time credit? This is bull**** to penalize them for a crew not catching up. It's one roundabout exit. There is no reason for Angie & Danny to wait more than 5 minutes.

We return to Rod not being able to figure out anything. He asks a couple people at a gas station and know to jump onto the interstate. Juan & Shane arrive in Christ Church territory. "That's the Juan!" - Shane

Ricky & Cesar are going back and forth between the example to be able to utilize the resources to their fullest advantage. "Just take your time. Right now you're by yourselves."

Angie & Danny arrive at the Detour clue. But... the producer says they have to be on hold until their crew shows up.

Yvonne & Mel arrive at the Detour clue in 2nd. They argue if the seaweed is going to take way too long. They Ricky & Cesar it and choose the fish nets instead after questioning them too.

Amber & Vinny arrive at the Detour in 3rd.

Amber & Vinny do the "fish basket" while Ricky is stressing. Meanwhile, Angie & Danny are hands-crossed. Rod & Leticia arrive in 4th at the DT. They do the fish net building.

Ricky & Cesar realize they made it incorrectly and that they made holes in the wrong places. Ricky has to patch.

Vinny reveals his Filipino family had experience as a fishmonger.

Cesar wants to say they made it with tears, blood, and sweat.

Angie & Danny are finally off as the crew arrives! They do the fish pots.

Ricky & Cesar bypass Angie & Danny and they talk to each other saying there is only one team behind them left and the fish pot is faster in their opinion.

Rod & Leticia are making progress happily while Amber is looking at other teams and Vinny says to not worry about them too much.

Juan & Shane arrive at the DT in last and do the seaweed cleanup.

Amber is bleeding everywehre, but are unphased as they are ER nurses. Rod & Leticia get theirs checked and it's missing corner supports. Unapproved. "This is the first time in the back of the pack." - Leticia.

Yvonne & Mel see everyone's here while Angie & Danny are analyzing their current situation against the other teams.

Juan & Shane are hauling it all and realize they are halfway done with just one wheelbarrow full. Doesn't seem like it from our angle?

Juan & Shane quickly trying to collect the seaweed while Rod & Leticia are still missing pieces on their net hoping for a check.

Yvonne & Melissa say they are almost done while Juan & Shane get their second wheelbarrow to the blue barrel. They are 90% done.

Danny methodically getting the trap finished while Juan & Shane move up to 2nd!!! They are absolutely exhausted as they get in their jeep.

And Ricky & Cesar arrive at the Pit Stop dancing! They are TEAM NUMBER ONE and win $7,500 each!

We come back to Angie & Danny against Rod & Leticia trapping themselves with their fishnet trap problem. Rod realizes the problem and Leticia and Rod begin to argue as they are finding out the issue was them all along.

Juan & Shane arrive at the Pit Stop as TEAM NUMBER TWO! They say the million dollars is getting more real by the day.

Rainbow is showing and a storm is coming in (probably). Rod & Leticia going to get another check while Angie & Danny finishing up their net.

this is gonna be one of the most controversial stuff TAR had ever experienced since the infamous TAR 7 scene. Idk i feel like the crews were responsible to Angie & Danny elimination, and it sucked to see them go out like that, but them kept driving along instead of waiting for the crews might not be their best idea to handle it

Yeah, I'm staying up for the Phil interview tonight. Let's see if it's just gonna be promotion for one of his projects, Tough As Nails, or if something is going to get addressed or clarified with Angie & Danny's crew going awol. This didn't look good on production at all. Especially since the whole time credit explanations have long been phased out since the early days.
