How are things in Myanmar?

Myanmar is a chaos
Political conflicts
Human Trafficking
Kidnapping
Censorship
Restrictions to tourist
Not to mention US government issue a Grade 4 warning to those who plan to visit there

If you wish to see a new country in Asia, Nepal or Brunei is Wayyyyyy more possible than Myanmar
Myanmar is never going to be visited for like 2-3 years

I wonder if they have already start Leg 2

Cuz they probably finish the first leg at night
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm curious to know how long the Pit-Stops are gonna be, and when we should expect to see them again.

I think it's likely that leg 2 will be either Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, or Vietnam.

I'd expect, given teams finished the first leg around 7-8pm on Thursday 15 June Bangkok time, that they will be off again around the same time on Friday 16 June OR 7-8am on Saturday 17 June if it is 36 hours. 12 hours and 48 hours are relatively uncommon in 'normal' TAR, although we have had the 48 hour break in filming for the past few seasons with the charter plane.

Kiwi! Are start times for legs still in blocks or separate and in order based on time like before 33/34?

That I cannot tell you for certain, but from what I've heard we are back to pre-COVID rules and format, so I would EXPECT that they will be back to the traditional form of departure times.

Do we know they actually finished the leg at that time? Sunset in Bangkok is at around 6:46pm so it would be dark by the time they finish. And if they were on the flight speculated and raced right after getting off wouldn't that make for an 8 hour leg or even more??

I'm just asking because, wow, if that's the case lol. A far cry from the 3 hour little morning legs we saw in TAR35.

Tasks are confirmed to be harder and in more abundance this season

Fossil also overheard production as they set up earlier in the day saying the tasks are going to be harder and got the impression we are no longer in for linear legs, so expect them to be longer to fill our 90 mins mandate.

Speculation / educated guess: When I was in Nepal earlier this year, most/many fellow travellers flew in from Bangkok. If we're retracing the lost TAR 33 legs, it would make sense to have a leg in Thailand as a staging post to enter Nepal next!

There was a guy from facebook post that Amazing Race will be heading to Nepal next week.  I think he is from Nepal.

Did he say where specifically in the country like Kathmandu?

The first few legs in Mexico and South America were all well thought out and going according to plan, but somewhere near the middle of the season they were going to travel to South Africa and Australia/Oceania for legs in the backhalf of the season.
Do we think it's likely they will visit South Africa since they were going to in 35? I could see them doing a leg in Cape Town and another in Stellenbosch since the last time they visited was TAR 2. I also think Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) is possible.

For anyone who watched haMerotz7, which tasks from its Nepalese legs would be worthy of redoing in the event that 36 goes there?

Carrying puzzle pieces up 500 steps to assemble the flag of Nepal. As the world's only non-quadrilateral national flag, they must do something with it.

So the Leg 2 has started?
If it is 24/36 hour pitstop, they may just start or have already finished?

Any news about how potential Pit Start departures will be this season? Old school one at a time departures or still the COVID era group departures?

And how long do we think Pit Stops will last? 12 hours, 24 hours, 36 hours, or 48 hours?

My guess is that they are somewhere in rural Thailand for leg 2, and that's why we aren't having sightings.

I see them heading to Singapore for leg 3, then heading to Vietnam before Nepal.

Edit: It's only been about 36ish hours from when leg 1 was reported to end, so it's possible they are just now/about to start leg 2.

That's TAR Australia
This person sounds so informed, he knows all seasons of tar usa in DETAIL I think he would tell the difference btn Australia  and USA. What if they are both in that area...Am just curious.

Well elise has never met beau ryan before. They met Jon .I feel beau would  ask Phil for a bicep   flex off if they crossed paths..he would definitely hug him that's for sure .And Phil would give him the eye brow ..it would be a funny moment.

We almost had this happened in TAR32 where both US version and HaMerotz met in Manila on the same day.
